getting a falsified birth certificate is as easy as going to the nearest LGA council and paying 1k

I even know people that added years to their age for exams
thing is, that official that did that paper work usually know all. Most times, these players aren't that bold to do this falsification.

I doubt any potential professional player on the streets of 9ja will give up his recognition because of his probable disqualification for his overage

Players too go bold falsify their age o, people go even advise am make he do am

Without further ado and asay

We can conclude that only a meagre 5%(roughly) do use their real ages when going into sports in Nigeria.

If you are 23, for example and wana go to Olympic team camp, the officials may encourage paperwork to make you take off 4yrs and be 19yo till further notice, as you look the part. This is more easy and sensible than those looking Ancestral and reducing their ages by half. These ones are kinda the crux cos their looks betray them.....

See that bearded Valentine Odoh now..... 17

Its now a system. Who will banish it? Oh Presido ba? grin

don't think it applies for all sports..

There are some sports like athletics were if u fake your age,you will be exposed quicker than you think because by the time you are really in your 30s,your performance will drop drastically...

Some sports don't even take age into consideration at all, e.g tennis..you can play on until u are tired...

As far as I know,it's mostly footballers that engage in it...

Saka rejects Nigeria.
Good one. Much ado about nothing. Ebere Eze next!
We should learn to appreciate what we have. Iwobi, Ejaria, Aribo. Some people were already benching Iwobi for Eze. grin grin

England will likely call up Saka for their next friendly and he will accept.

Of course he will turn it down. He was on a verge of being called up for the March international friendlies by England.

So I'm not surprised.

All this average players tieing themselves up to three lions no dey hear word. Small time, he will turn another Tomori with 3 minutes national team cap grin grin

I know that..

But I'm talking about how long one can continue playing the sport while using a real or fake age.

Like tennis for example, you can be 40 years old and still be an active player... Segun Toriola is in his 40s and has been to 7 Olympics game...
But for sports like athletics,u can't be 30 and be claiming 20.. you will be exposed quicker! ...

Even Roger Federer is almost 40 but still active...

There are some sports that don't involve use of much strength.. u can use whatever age u like and play on until u are officially 40 self grin ...another example is golf

Emmanuel Dennis is expected to leave Club Brugge with a number of clubs in Europe including Arsenal reportedly circling for his signature.

Brugge manager Philippe Clement has conceded the 22-year-old will likely move on from the club.

"It is very likely that Dennis will leave," Clement told La Derniere Heure via the Daily Mail. "He can also count on a lot of interest. It is the time for him to take a new step."

Exclusive – ” My Mind Is Not On Playing For Nigeria Now “- Ebere Eze Tells Rohr

QPR midfielder Ebere Eze has played down the chances of switching allegiance to Nigeria in the immediate as he is focused on his career with his clubside and also the youth team of England, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
The midfielder trained with the Super Eagles in 2017 but he has since represented England at U21 level and even though he met with the president of the NFF in London few months ago, he still hasn’t decided on Nigeria.

In an exclusive interview aired on YouTube on the Podcast the Beautiful Game. The 22 year old who is having one of his best season with QPR where he has emerged as a prime target for teams in the English Premier League revealed his plans in the immediate regarding his international future.
Ask by a keen follower of Nigerian football @Nigerianscamsss on if he will consider a switch to Nigeria owing to his form, Eze revealed he has met with the handlers of the Nigerian team and told them he want to maintain his current international status for the time being.

”Yes of course and that’s why I don’t want to make any decision on my international future until it’s time I think it’s right. I don’t want to make a rash decision as much as it is a privilege to play for either country. It will be a great honor to play for both”, he responded when asked if he will consider playing for Nigeria.

He however poured cold water on any immediate plan when probed further ” To be honest I spoke with the Nigerian football people but they understand where I am at. I’m just enjoying my football right now, I don’t want any added pressure until my mindset is settled.

” I don’t want to be focused on the wrong thing, I just want to focus on what has got me to this position and continue doing it and wherever it takes me, it takes me”, he concluded.

V Williams, never said Serena.

And Maria is 33?

Then I must have missed the player I intended to mention. It's one oldie that reigned with Woz alongside Serena years ago.
