Really? Tell that to isoko people
I don't need to tell it to them. I have been following the thread a while and your arguments have been nothing but weak and watery.

I miss the days of the staunch bigots that will deeply research and put facts up to suit their narratives. You have done just the opposite on this very thread while basing your submissions on emotions and affiliation.

It won't hurt you to read a bit and understand the why and how before arguing.

Not all Igbo languages are the same and there is a supposed central Igbo despite the many variations, just like with the Yorubas with varying ones. Heck, the language of those in Ilesha is not even the same as those in Ìfẹ́.

I get the divide and conquer tactics but if you are going to do so, put up materials to back up your claims. Learning while arguing isn't a lose in the end when you don't win. At least you get to say you caught something eventually.

Lol leave that for isokos to decide. I guess you're culturally almost the same but pree them. I'm ibibio, we share the culture things with Annang, Efik , Oro and eket but it'd be quite annoying if we claimed them just because we're the largest group. Just enjoy the urhobo-isoko alliance like that, slowly una go gum. That's how we're doing it here with our sister tribes.
I understand the existing rift with you guys and the many scuffle that happen over boundaries and what not but it is not the same with yours. The Isoko tribe is a sister tribe but a sub-group of the Urhobo ethnic group. No one is laying any claim. There are free resource materials littering cyberspace.

My crux is here is that each Ishekiri communities in Delta state be given the opportunity to vote on if they want to join the Yorubas or prefer to join Bendel republic when the time comes.

Their vote should be independent.

Same as Ijaw communities in Ondo be given opportunity to vote if they want to be part of oduduwa republic or Ijaw izon nation.

You started listing prominent Urhobo people from the Midwest era and these few are only what you could get? Then it means you guys lack human resources because I bet you, if Anioma people including those in politics, entertainment, sports, banking industry etc beginning from the same period are listed here, you will get tired of reading.

They held and are holding sensitive positions of note, i didn't have to name all urhobos who have headed government parstatals and were board chaimen. if you have more politicians who have made more waves than those listed above then name them, but they must be known. dont give us names of permanent secretaries etc. politicians who served in national or state politics. the speaker of deltastate house of assembly is an urhoboman and the former deputy governor of delta state, but i did not name them. who are the strong, well recognized politicians from anioma?
