Germany and France made a sudden announcement of about $500 billion proposal fund for the recovery of euro. That was the spike you saw yesterday. Most TA could not hold & that is why you always need a SL for unforseen circumstances like this. My account was hit hard on this announcement but thank God for money management

The market sentiment is risk-on currently. AUD is seen as a risky currency, hence when it comes to GBP/AUD pair, GBP becomes risk-off and AUD becomes risk-on. Hope this helps, I am also learning too!

The TP hit on this one for 340pips and Gold bottomed exactly at the 1728. No magic or wizardry or juju here, that is 50Fib retracement of the last swing up on the 4H.

Gold is a good buy between 1735 and 1730 for targets of 1780/6 before we start to look for any sells. Could even go to 1800 depending on price action.
1725 invalidates all this plenty talk

I usually have a high probability trade maybe once every month and this looks like it.

Buying GBPJPY here at 131.60 SL 40pips TP 10,000pips at 141.00.

for months I had issues with TP. trades will go in my direction 50 pips then reverses to hit SL. another will hit TP and still run like x3 of what I gained. sometimes it made me very emotional. now all I do is, after calculating my risk and I arrive at something like 0.06 lot size, I'll split it to 0.04 and 0.02, the bigger lots for a smaller gain. after which I move SL to entry on the smaller trade once tp is hit in the bigger one.
for example, GBPJPY should hit my 60 pips TP on one of my trades, and the smaller one will continue to run
