You dont go about defending people stupidly because they're from your tribe even when they're clearly wrong. There are fraudulent and honest people in every tribe.

Chima Igwe forged a PHD attestation to get rapidly promoted since 2002. He did not complete the PhD program until 2020, 18 years later. Demoting him shouldn’t even be an option in the first place, he should have been dismissed outrightly. But no, his Igbo brother want to keep him in office as DG of a federal research agency. The same people who cry about merit everyday are the ones doing everything to destroy merit in the public service.

The truth is that the Benin Uni issued the attestation and it was from the University and Attestation in French means Certificate. This has been reconfirmed by the University in February. He had not
When this was discovered he went back to bring another letter saying he completed the Phd in 2020

So he worked and was promoted for 18 years on the understanding that he had a Phd which he did not.
