Like seriously? It’s this simple?? They just want to keep cheating the system?? What about the solution they asked for in terms of the discrepancies in paying allowances ? |

It's so annoying to know that young guys and ladies sit down in computer room determining the salaries of lecturers and professors. These professors have been lecturing before 80% of IPPIS workforce were born. Lots of deduction on the lecturers and professors salaries by IPPIS. It's such a sad and pathetic situation. |

KingAzubuike: Please can you provide specific examples of these research grants, specific names of lecturers who you know have misused any of such grants, and examples with pay slips to back it up, of "multi-scale" salaries? I intend to follow up on your comments to see if they are factual or not. 1 Like 3 Shares |

mayor1814: Gerrout. If a professor thinks himself beyond the policies set up by his employers, he's free to leave. He should be master in his field, as such, he should be capable of monetizing his abilities in the outside world. Until then, he's a mere employee. By the way, a lecturer of physical education never trained an accountant and must rely on one for his pay slip. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Does anyone know if the Nigeria BVN system doesn’t data coloration and duplicate detection on the BIO data submitted? I mean, something akin to e.g. the FBI finger print database? What stops a criminal minded individual to obtain multiple BVN numbers even up to 40 from different centers, each time altering one BIO data or the other and continue their ghosting of the system? I can even bet my left balls that, there are Nigerians with multiple BVN numbers outsmarting the system today. 2 Likes 1 Share |

stagger:Bros, it happens in most federal institutions. You can't expect me to start mentioning names. Although I know a few lecturers back then who were guilty. They won research grants , thousands of dollars but never implemented it, once they squandered it , they'll apply for another and the cycle continues. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Decibel:SMH for this country, only God will see and help this nation. A country where someone does nothing, yet get paid(multiple times). Meanwhile, the real workers are being owed. Those willing to commit themselves in honesty are sitting at home, jobless and wallowing in starvation. The innocent students of the country are suffering and receiving inadequate education; whereas, the children of these heartless lecturers (ASUU) are scattered in different countries, boasting of grades (1st class) and posting on social media just to intimidate and make their counterparts in the country feel inferior. 1 Like |

Blue3k: They will fire them to employ you right.? . This is the same silly approach we tell striking doctors when they push for their rights .. No wonder our leaders said Drs can take to farming if they were unsatisfied or that Nigeria has more than enough doctors.. Now see what is happening during the pandemic. Even the rugged Abacha tried it and it ended no where... Continue cutting off your nose to spite your face... 1 Like 2 Shares |

Re: IPPIS: Joe Abah On "How Ghost Workers Exist In Public Institutions" by Blue3k(m): 2:04pm On May 19, 2020 |
jmaine: Lol stop rambling nonsense. There's enough talent in the workforce with masters degress to replace these workers. If need be the workers in public sector can be poached along with talent from other African countries. If they dont wish to oney lawful directive they can try their hsnd with state universities and private sector. The unemployment rate is high over 20 percent. They dont hsve much leverage in this situation. You're doctor example is a lame apples and oranged comparison. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Have said this countless times that the corruption start from the botom to the top. The irregularities in Nigerian agencies, parastaters and the likes is bigger than the one in aso rock. I doubt if we can ever get a new Nigeria. 2 Likes 1 Share |

KingAzubuike: No, if you made such a serious allegation, you have to be prepared to back it up with proof. You cannot just make a wild allegation and leave it at that. No foreign organization provides money for research grants without a follow-up. NONE! It is also not possible to apply for a research grant, not provide the outcomes, then apply for another one and be granted. It is not possible. So if you have an instance of one where this has happened and you have proof, I will like to see it. 2 Likes 1 Share |
