My brother just got scammed two weeks ago by the same person and he has been giving stories about the car he was supposed to sell to my brother.

And why did you keep quiet until now?

So that means op didn't follow up on the case or did the guy later settle him and he decided not to give us feedback?

My brother just told me about it yesterday, didn't know about the whole transaction, didn't even know he had scammed someone on Nairaland until we googled him and his story on Nairaland popped up.

Report to Efcc now ,his number details will be traced with the phone subscriber and they will pick him up

The scammer sent 360k into my brother's account out of the 800k my brother paid as part payment for the car.
He said he would pay the balance today we are still waiting, my brother said he doesn't want to report to EFCC yet, although a friend has linked him to some one there.
Meanwhile, the scammer connected my bro to another man that sells cars, he has the car my bro wants to buy, my bro has gone to see the car, the scammer hasn't sent the balance of the money, so he can't even pay for the car.

Okay, good new. But after this we need to make the guy famous so that others won't buy from him.

I am sure he is using customers money to trade on unsure deals that gets him in trouble.

With this new scam he has done, i think you should link up with the victim and you both get the guy arrested. Things would move swiftly if multiple cases of fraud are brought against him. It means he is a serial fraudster

The truth is that i still wonder how one riff raff will continue to scam people ...is either some of you are not following development on nairaland or you choose to ignore red flags. He will continue to scam una untill una give una self brain. How can I trust someone I don't know with my money . I don't even trust my family with my money let alone a stranger. My policy is don't give out your money without going home with what u bought..,,don't give us the stupid excuse that you don't have chance.....then wait untill u are free .Enough of coming to nairaland to lament ....we can't help you here. I want to advice everyone that before you post someone's image on a widely read online platform, there must have been a warrant. I picked interest in this story and decided to follow up, apparently the complainant already had two cars delivered and left with one pending. This case, if it goes to the police,it cannot be treated because it is commercial trading according to our laws. There has not been a court order or anything of such to give the poster the right to defame someone to this point. If we continue to allow this,the we are compromising ethics I. This manner. The complainant is one Mr Nonso Okafor whose photo appears here and he must be dubious by doing such a thing. We should learn how not to take laws into our own hands. The family currently are waiting,and I am sure they will take a legal action. When business goes wrong,you look for way to resolve and not to cheapishly go defame people. Nonso Okafor, you should pull down the post and write an apology. I am not holding brief for the guy but we must learn to follow the laws of our country. Go and take a look at the law of defamation and know exactly where you are headed. The person's father, you don't know him and I don't think you will want to face his wrath. Do the needful. If the guy is a scammer he won't send you his photo. Ensure you learn how to resolve your issue and don because internet is cheap,you can just post anything. Hiding under aliases, what a shame. So EFCC has become your father's personal property. There is always a complainant and a defendant in a case. Judgement is given by a judge based on case presentation. You crucify a guy without hearing his side of the story. There are three sides to a story,the third side is God's. As said earlier, I am not holding brief. I will be in the country in December, bring your fuckn ass out and you meet so you actualise your threat. Be civil and be disciplined.
