please stop beating him, you're just punishing him for what he doesn't understand. His penis is a part of his body, do you beat him for touching his head? or his nose? When he does it, gently remove his hand, don't shout or call too much attention to it, it's very normal and he will outgrow it Mumaraoluwa: 2 Likes |

I need help or advice before I run mad. My son does not sleep through out the day, as I am typing this he is still wide awake doing what I don't know. He will pretend to sleep after I force him but before you say jack he is up again. Secondly, he doesn't avoid what i have explained to him to stay away from even after giving him a size appropriate spanking that should drive the message home. I mean things like going close to the gas when its on, pouring sliced bread all over the floor (for play, he is not hungry o), climbing stabilizer to climb the deep freezer. Somebody should tell me its normal stage or whatever. He is 2 years and 8 months. I have found myself spanking him too much recently, I feel bad about it. Thanks mamas 1 Like |

Hello, My baby boy of 27 months is having persistent boils. It appears mostly on his forehead and scalp. 3 might appear with 2 drying up and 1 bringing out pus. Once it drys, another set appears after a week or 2. Would have loved to visit the clinic or hospital but exposure to Co-vid scares me. I await your responses. Thanks. |

redsocks:Hello mama, it's normal. For my son we graduated to using wire to beat him and he is just 2.3yrs. He went to my sister-in-law's place for 2 weeks now and they said he's been behaving himself. This is the first time of leaving home without his parents. We noticed there was enough space there for him to play. It's a duplex which he moves from up to down and there's enough space in the compound to play. Enough to get him exhausted. He also has people around he could play with. Find a way to get him engaged so as to distract him from those things he sees as toys. Please stop beating. My son did not ask of home for 2 weeks. I'm sure it's because no one beats him there. 4 Likes |

Mbliz:Is she on any antibiotics medication,it looks like a drug reaction. My son had those last month as a result of the antibiotics he was on. It cleared once we stopped. I only had to apply vaseline. Take note of the drug and refrain from using it again in future. 1 Like |

Lisa001:Apply pennicilin to cotton wool and wrap round the pen*s, then use a soft cotton piece of cloth to hold it (as if you want to wear him nappies) before wearing his diaper, the cloth will prevent the diaper from rubbing against the wound.. Do this until he heals. Pele. The nurse recommended that we give vitamin C to him for fast healing. 3 Likes 1 Share |

[quote author=hyb33 post=89808073] For the poop, your baby will poop when she's ready, your wife can help her by taking oranges.thats what I do.For the grunting, its most likely colic, its normal, she will soon outgrow it.sometimes,u can place her on her tummy to help relieve the pain, please supervise her o..my doctor told me not to use anything for it,it was frustrating though, cos I always pitied her and I thought it would never end,but she's doing fine now, don't worry daddy..you can also read up on colic on google 2 Likes |
