I once had similar experience when I lost my mum , in fact we saw her shadow and hear the foot step , she will always come at exact time we close at shop and come home. I will advice you to burn incent every night Yoruba call it turari. What happen is she yet to be aware of her demise because I don't think she died of a natural death , couple with the fact that if she have children she might coming to check on them as they always come every Thursday evening to check on their child before they finally depart. If person come outside she go stop. Or you will perceive very awful smell direct to you that will make you run back to your room. If any bulb is on when she come the bulb go burn or destroy. Is �% clear it was a ghost because we tried front am many times but e go commot if everywhere silent e go continue again. When my father died, his voice was still heard in the room singing hymns to God for 7 days like he did when he was alive. He was even heard praying for his children. Everyone in the house always sat still between 1am and 2am listening until it finally stopped after 7 days!

OP i think two people have given good suggestions.

First, wait for her to be buried, maybe she'll wander towards the village and finally rest.

If it continues after the burial, when next you feel her presence. Talk out. Call her name and say the dead have nothing to do with the living. That she should go and rest in peace in the land of the dead and leave the living be.

I once worked in an event mgt center. They handle weddings, burials etc. They have pall bearers and mortuaries too.

The mortician sometimes tells us wierd stories about corpses.
He once told us about one young married lady s corpse that was brought in. From the night she was brought in , the mortuary started experiencing trouble. The mortician sleeps in the same mortuary compound in a general hospital.
He said every night he will be hearing serious bang on the mortuary door. He thought he was the only one hearing the noise and has happened for like 3 days.
Then he went to buy something in a shop around the place and they were asking him what was happening in his office. lol

He said that night before he slept he brought out that particular corpse and told her that the person that killed her is not here and begged her to go after those that killed her and that she should stop disturbing others.
From that day no noise again till she was removed.

He said he later found out that the girl was having problems with the husband s people and died in the process
