The share float of the company is abysmal. It is the core investor alone that is enjoying the company, he will need to get new investors to sell to
emmanuelewumi:
Congrats BUA Cement shareholders, dividend of N1.75k.

Profit after tax of N60 billion higher than the N35 billion promised by the core Investor

Dividend payout ratio of 97%

As grievances on missing outs go, I hope people here bought 11plc, because no one said we shouldn't buy it. June 3 was slated for decision on delisting at a premium.

I personally started buying it after the initial rush.

Fbnh: 46.8M bids vs. 4.9M offers.....

One will now wonder where were all these people bidding at 5, 5.05 and 5.10 when this same Fbnh was selling for 4.40 and below. grin
Imagine that 10M single bid at 4.95. grin

Out of the total shares of 33.8 billion shares, the core Investor and his companies own a total of 31.3 billion shares.

@FBNH, now that 4.90 - 4.95 has been defeated, can we move forward..

Yours truly is sitting on 40+% on this stock, so please not a buy or sell recommendation.

The market understands that Access is a better bet, hence the pricing.

How long has he started his school, if he has not been running the business for a minimum of 20 years, it will be almost impossible for him to build a substantial reserves. Personnel expenses take more than 50% of the income in most cases, but proprietors got double digits loans to establish and grow their schools, finance cost can take between 20% to 30% in most cases, taxes, dues, levies from the government, local government etc will take another 10%, the competition is also keen. So it is not that easy as people think.

Real estate and Portfolio Investments are just too cool, running a business in Lagos no be moin moin

If you are lucky to get a start up capital of N50 millon to establish a small school or Invest in the stock market.

There is an 80% probability for an informed Investor to do better than the investor who invested in a capital intensive school business
