Eastlink:I didn’t even know it was an urhobo dude ,but that’s really sad and immature of him , I can give a million and one reasons why the urhobos can’t measure up with the aniomas in different sectors, but I want to choose the path of peace. |

[[s]quote author=Efewestern post=89779315]Greetings. I initially never wanted to comment on this thread because of some strange monikers hiding under the Anioma banner to dish out hate, very uncommon with the good people of Anioma, never have I met any Anioma child with such level of hate and bitterness. My little contributions to the thread. Delta state, infact Nigeria as a whole is lagging behind when it comes to real development, most of our cities are highly overrated, so I'm definitely not going to talk about cities but level of urbanization in Delta state. Urbanization. It's an open secret that Delta central is one of the most urbanized region in Delta state, all thanks to the oil industry. 3 of the 6 urbanized towns in Delta State are in Urhobo land, the rest spread across other regions. Top 6 Urban Areas in Delta State Uvwie/Udu/Parts of Okpe(Jeddo, Osubi) - Urhobo Warri - Shared with itsekiri and Ijaw Asaba Agbor Ughelli - Urhobo Sapele. - Urhobo Human resources Deltans generally are doing very great, was looking at a a list of Nigerians who graduated with masters in a US university, to my greatest surprise, for every Yoruba and Igbo, there's either an Urhobo name, an Isoko name or an Edo name, even with a population of less that 6 millions, the Urhobos were practically competing with the big two in human development. In business, they have produced big shots like Ibru and co, till date, the Urhobos still control the fishing industry in Lagos. In entertainment, they own the comedy industry and are doing well in the movie industry, although still can't compare to the big two. In sports, Anioma trumps everyone. Resources Urhobo is the third highest producer of crude oil in Delta State, followed by Isoko then Anioma with Itsekiri and Ijaw being the First and second. pazienza , Mystiquefia, darfay, Nowenuse[/quote][/s] Stop comparing Anioma with urhobo |

EasternActivist: Minority is just a geographical factor. Urhobo people would constitute a majority or a very visible tribe should they be in cape Verde, Liberia, Sierra Leone, guinea, Namibia etc and igbos would be a minority should they be in India, Brazil, Pakistan or China. Minority and majority statuses are just geographical "expressions", it's not real |

Liliantalks:I just don't want to embarass the Urhobos here, honestly they can't even see our backs when it comes to global achievements, we dust them on all indices...I just don't want to sound conceited or something but their competition should be Itshekiri or Ijaw people. 1 Like |

Efewestern: You are going to try to appeal to Anioma by using Ndiigbo in SE as sacrificial lamb. Like : "oh! We know Aniomas are angels, they don't have any resentment for us, and we don't have any for them. It's the hateful Igbos from SE that are hiding under Anioma to attack us. The attacks we ourselves have been dishing out to Aniomas should be ignored or chalked down to retaliatory attacks. Aniomas should remember they are good people and minorities like us. They should know they are not Igbos, they should unite with us to deal with the big black devils called Igbos from across the SE". This is how your above post sounded. This is how you minorities play on the Igboids. How cute. Some of us can see through your antics. Never forget that. Well, we will be watching from sidelines. 6 Likes |

Poloyanabo1:Ijaws fourth largest, lol! Abeg, who count am. The Urhobos are even more than the Ijaws in numbers. Bayelsa states has open Ijaw nyash of so-called numbers. How can a group of coast people have population more than those with lands. In my opinion the 4th, 5th and 6th largest ethnic groups are thus: 4th - Kanuri 5th - Efik/Ibibio 6th - Tiv 7th - Urhobo 8th - Ijaw 9th - Igala 10th - Gwari 2 Likes 1 Share |
