Don't know how feasible this is, (Airforce forensics lab active?) can they do forensics on weapons captured on the battlefield.

Itemise the fingerprints on weapons/ied found into a database. Someday these guys would show up at IDP camps claiming civilians or all the way down in Lagos. One cross check and you'd be able to link them to their terrorist activities.

The report says some BHT fled with severe gunshot wounds, it's possible that some of them left their weapons behind and fled.

I was mocking those who also complain about the armies report on BHT casualties:
You know sometimes the casualties are higher while the equipment captured are few.
In this case only two soldiers where killed and we had 5 assault riffles, AAG and a vehicle etc...
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Kabe2: 10:07am On May 21, 2020
Let us not forget that 78 members of ISWAP and 56 from Boko Haram died in less than four days of the launch of Operation Kantana Jimlan, 16 informants arrested also.

Let's us not forget that more than 500 Boko-Haram/ISWAP terrorists have been killed since the start of this offensive.

We would continue to thank our soldiers, our Officers & Generals that are doing their best to keep Nigeria safe.

This unfortunate incident will not change the fact that our army, the Nigerian army is fighting and giving the blood thirsty terrorists a bloody nose.

Thank a Nigerian soldier today!!!

Thank our boys in the field!!!

May God bless them, their families and our Republic.

This is the kind of threat Nigerian soldiers are currently facing in the North-East.

As we can see this sort of explosive can destroy an MRAP, not to talk of a light skin vehicle.

A vehicle narrowly escaped destruction.

The Nigerian army needs to invest in lots and lots of MRAPs for front line troops.

I believe there are advantages that light skin vehicles provide in combat. If we look at how Syrian military bases fell during the initial stages of the war, the terrorists employed multiple trucks mounted with heavy machine guns and attacked from different positions.

However MRAPs and Light Skin vehicles should be complementary. We really need to increase the Ratio to at the minimum 50/50.

Our brother SSBN / Defense News Nigeria has made a truly inspiring post on twitter this morning.

He has truly encapsulated the Nigerian spirit in his series of tweets.

This is the kind of support Nigerian soldiers need to see, not the demoralization of Sahara reporters.com

When the army was busy pounding Boko-Haram senseless, we did not see Sahara reporters, with this unfortunate incident they have seen an opportunity to gloat and spread fear.

Out of curiosity what's the avg monthly salary of a one and two star cop in Nigeria in dollars ?
Lol, because of that young man posing in car nd hotel room.
Well, the guy might comes from a rich family, or may also be a businessman.
His salary from the police alone cant fund that kind of living. Many salary earner do have a side hustle/ business.
And that has been a culture in Nigeria for a long time.

An MRAP can not survive this and even going to do a lot of serious damage even it’s an MBT/IFV.

Why does this vehicle look different?

It looks like some in-country refurbishment work was carried out on it.

#Egypt- #ISIS release photo report of ambush near Sheikh Zuweid, North #Sinai, which killed 4 soldiers.

All 4 were wearing civilian clothes (2 military unit t-shirts I think) and only 1 AK among them (I think, difficult to determine).

The bodies were later mutilated.

Definitely a refurbishment is been done on the MRAP, painting works and I also noticed the side windows glass has been replaced with smaller ones that has wire mesh.
See deference in the picture below:

Which aircraft cockpit is that?

It doesn't look familiar.

A mix of analogue and MFD would suggest an upgrade or an early version 4th Gen fighter.

This is my problem with the army. Many people in the force should not be there. Unemployment forced them there.

The army nèeds to look into its recruitment practises. Those guys in the video should not be soldiers. Never.
