Captainrambo2: He asked a simple question, why didn't azikwe head Eastern region, why did he want to rule western region dt belongs to the yorubas?? Why not elect a yoruba as a head of Eastern region but no, he elected eastern for East and wanted to impose himself, an Easterner on the west.. God forbid 14 Likes 4 Shares |

I've never seen a tribe as divided as Eboes. Anambrans are the real Igbos. Ebonyi people are the fake and poor Igbos While the rest are figure heads. Now you want us to allow Azikiwe (a man that watch Gowon massacre 3 million fools) to divide the Yorubas just like the ipob pigs. 9 Likes 3 Shares

BrownLondon: No matter the epistle written against him, the Yorubas will forever reference him and hold him in high esteem. His name & legacies is written in sands of time. A man who beats his contemporaries hands down in achievements & other. Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo is his name 18 Likes 1 Share |

Captainrambo2: Thank God Awolowo came and disposed Zik from the west.. Only God knows they damage Zik wud have down to our beloved south west. Zik in his own sense thinks an igbo man can rule eastern region but he wunt want a yoruba man head western region. Thank God Awolowo was smarter than him 13 Likes 1 Share |

DenreleDave:if the yorubas had a politician of ziks caliber iono y they didnt go and contest in the east. But in the west zik an igbo man had more followers than even Awolowo... if course he had to resort to tribalism . Which itself was quit new. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Bodexman:The difference is clear, one was responsible for his people's success (Awolowo) while the other sold his people to Northerners out of greed as if that wasn't enough he watched Gowon massacre 3million of his people without doing anything. Today, we can all see the resultant, whilst Yorubas are arguably the most successful in African, our arch rival with the population of 45million are seen as second class citizens, imagine Ijaws are even more important than Ibos. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

DenreleDave:truth is when Awolowo became leader the west became know as the wild wild west. Akintola and Awolowo locked horns, awolowo started speaking condescendingly to akenzua and ovie what was the result,? Midwest left the west. Awolowo knew just one thing tribalism, that's why in other parts of the country he isnt seen as a national icon. He will always remain a tribal regional leader. Never will he be referred to as a nationalist. Enahoro, Azikiwe, isong, ciroma, Hassan, belewa will always stand tall above the local champ 13 Likes 2 Shares |

Captainrambo2: The question is WHY WOULD ZIK WANT TO BE THE PREMIER IN THE WEST WHILE HE LEFT THE EAST IN ANOTHER IBOMANS HAND? if you can't answer that, you can't question awolowos tribalism after all NO YORUBAMAN WANT TO BE PREMIER IN THE EAST 5 Likes 2 Shares |
