Please guys I really need urgent solutions for my friend who is experiencing ringing in the ears after taking chloroquine injection for malaria. Please how long does it takes it to go away. It been 4days now.

The condition is called Tinnitus, it is not an infection like somebody wrongly said above.
It is mostly likely an adverse effect of the Chloroquine she took . Drugs of quinine family as such give untoward effect in some individuals.
It will subside and eventually resolve with time but if it is disturbing, pls do not self medicate, go see an ENT specialist .

It will disturb her sleep, especially because her worry and anxiety level has gone high. Just as explained above, it is an adverse side effect of medication. The good news is most often, this kind of tinnitus goes away, bit for some it may remain permanent.
Best way to manage it and sleep with it is by meditating with it, listen to it and assume it is like any other night sound, like the cricket chirping or the sound of the fan etc.
If you try to avoid it, you definitely not sleep for long before it wakes you up. Am talking from experience. It can be managed, also note that it gets less intense as she stops taking the medication causing it. It will gradually wear off. If it is still disturbing her, you can buy betahistine dihydrochloride, let her take a tablet of 8mg morning and evening along with vitabiotic 2 tabs morning and evening.
Warning:
She shouldn't take the medication, if she has stomach ulcer (peptic ulcer), high blood pressure or asthmatic.

She went to the hospital and was given some injection to neutralized the effect of chloroquine but she is still hearing the sounds. Mehh just tired here

For quick solution go for hyperbaric oxygen therapy -hbot. The earlier you start the better.
HBOT can save the the hearing cells from the chloquine toxicity. Read my other articles.

Mine started after taking a can of bullet drink, I thought it was a joke. After 5 days I went to a hospital and I was placed on a medication.

The truth is, it can be cured if she can be playing music before sleeping, she should avoid quite place, she should try to take her mind off it.
Mine lasted for more than 5 months or so.

He should stop chloroquine is a high cause of ear ringing (tinnitus) and if its severe it has no cure, tell him to stop and start taking arthemeter and lumafactrine
