Its always good to have that parachute handy. Zenith parachute is out from the closet now. The next few days will decide if i should dust it and put on ready to jump out. I don't see it making N19 in next few months.

* We have NSE equity stocks listed in two categories on that table: EQTY and PREMIUM.
* If you click on 'Equity' it will display all stocks listed under it, just look for the coy ticker (name of the coy) you wish to buy or sell and pick it.
*Under 'Premium' you will see the likes of Access, Zenith, Fbnh, Dangcem, etc., Select the coy you wish to buy or sell, then input the QTY and PRICE.
** Note that other columns on the buy/sell table are already set on default. Don't adjust them (it's meant for those who understands how well it works).

Hope it's not late. Ask if you have further clarifications. smiley

Thank you for the job well done.

Any dividend paying stock at hand? But, how does the dividend works?

For how long do I have to hold the stock to qualify for dividend?

Please recommend a book or thread page where I can get all the information about dividend.

Beautiful analysis especially with the 1million unit analogy displaying the various levels of price depreciation. I believe these are worst case scenarios.

This volume trading these days with price increase may be preparing us for a recession which the finance minister has pointed out.

I will not be surprise if prices begin to fall.Except the health sector,I don't see why there should be bull in the other sectors.

I will advice us to use today to book profit. This weekend is pregnant and might produce blood from Monday.

Having 100% cash at trading acct to start a new week in a time like this is always the best.

Recession is seriously looming

You'll have to do some readings.
Try and read some pages of this thread, read about 150-200 pages back, you'll get answers to all the questions and even much more.

The same portfolio investors, that will dump us and carry their profits to other markets.

I am not moved by their appearance.
That's what I somehow implied by the post. They will pump the price and dump on people, it's for us to be on the look out and be smart too.
Those that entered at bottom have more edge here.
They will still pump the price up the more......my opinion pls.

Hello Everyone... I bought 1000 Dangote Sugar shares in 2007, how much dividends would I have made from then till now?
And how do I collect it?

Good my people.
I bought Zenith, AIICO and a couple of others at their MARCH LOW. I'm currently at >20% in 4 different stocks. I actually average down on Zenith.

Will this be a reasonable time to start sell?

* Contact Dangsugar registrar, they'll calculate the accrued dividends for you.
* Download, fill and submit the e-dividend form to the registrar, once approved, they'll pay the dividend into your bank account.

** Don't sell yet except you already meet your target.
** For Aiico, wait to collect the bonus issue.
** As for others, no need to sell since you bought at March low, prices might still go up the more, then do the needful.
** Leave your Zenith for now.

** My opinion is based on the assumption that you didn't buy them for JIJO.

Will he because he bought at March low erase his 20% profit just like that?

20% at four different stocks,that's cool 80%.

He should open his eyes wide and watch.
Next week is Salah and from all indications, negative news abound in Nigeria and economy.

Yes, they will probably make some stocks too expensive.

This is time to monitor their movement, through. MCSI reports.

I won't be buying with them.

Fbn 20%
Fcmb 20%
Fidson 20%
Maybaker 20%

Though all appears as 20% but the returns when accessed individually is 80%

I like your maths.

Let's say he puts 1M on each share.
Total cost: 1M*4= 4M

At 20%, they'd become 1.2M
New value: 1.2M*4= 4.8M

Profit: 4.8 - 4= 0.8M = 800k

(800,000/4,000,000)*100= 20%

The main advantage here is that he didn't put his eggs in one basket.

You know Alhaji detest failure. The latter result is better than the formal ( I would say a flat result). I think Puchercos started his journey very well. I believe he will overtake makoju's 2018 q1 result in 2021.

FUGAZ is doing well
- zenith pulled 1.2 bln vol (highest vol MTD) breaking 2019 lows .

Top 5 Vol turn over today
1 Zenith (bye bye bottom)
2 DangCem (carrying d index)
3 GTB (touching N24.. nice)
4 Guinness ( bottom catchers ,this is what u want to see )
5 Access (lagging but hanging on)

FUGAZ Update
- Access : was lagging, found support abv N6, but also in gear with the rest

Simple TA using 10 & 20 ema trend lines on the Daily is okay to guide folks
if 10 ema moves above 20 ema = bulls in charge, positive momentum
if 10 ema below 20 ema = bears in charge, loss of momentum
if 10 hugging 20 = Range, neutral
Everything else is noise
test with other stocks , holla if u need help

I'm not seeing any signal to sell. In my opinion it is just to hold.

Like Ukay said, once people are comfortable with their gains, they can sell if they want. But they will buy back higher grin grin

AIICO:
- spent most of the last 10 years under N1.00 resistance , seems we have a very big reversal pattern forming .
- will this time be different ??
- its never advisable to buy resistance, but breaks above makes every holder to be in profit , this fuels FOMO

Go along with acceptable ID (ie any of National ID, Int'l passport, permanent voters card, NIN Slip, Drivers license) to the office of the registrars - Veritas Registrars, 89, Ajose Adeogun street, Victoria Island, Lagos or send mail to enquiry@veritasregistrars.com.
The registrar will tell you the current status of your holdings and dividends will be processed.
However, any of the outstanding dividend that is older than 12years will not be paid. By law that has been returned back to the company in this case Dangote sugar.

One last example br i jaa

UBA
- very neat structure , similar to FBN (been a buyer of both mainly ff by Zen and all)
- note
- strong engulfing candles signalled d shift , made a higher low , 7 days bullish move (sweeet)
- then consolidation until dis recent fresh brk again
- very decent , ff price not noise

have a nice day fam, Friday profit taking is allowed but structure is still positive , no fear
