so apart from ETX - NG recommended by WES , which other means can we use?

my school said they will send my transcript via courier and mail.
I meant don't pay that huge amount to send a document when IRCC is selective with draws and WES guys are chilling at home.

I do not advice consulting an immigration lawyer, they are after money, if you know you know. Please before you consult any please make critical enquiries about the persons credentials. I have not heard any good news from the people I know that have used them and they were all asked to pay huge fees by these lawyers.
But let me ask ehn, within this said 9 months what percentage was your application progress. Cos 9 months is too long for you to be getting rejection now?

Reapplying again? Diving into the pool and waiting during these uncertain times? That’s not an option. You can google similar situations. I think I might have read where people appealed and their applications were reinstated. Just do your research and make sure your explanation is extremely convincing. You will sail through

EngrSarah:
Please house....HELP!!! I just got a refusal letter for my express entry application.
The reason given was that the points in my reference letter does not match my NOC.

Can I appeal please - I am thinking of getting a new reference letter and a letter from my employer saying the old list of duties was not exhaustive (and it truly wasn't).

Just can't imagine reapplying again!

Your experienced thoughts really appreciated!

I'm to write this Saturday but I haven't received any mail yet, cancellation nor confirmation. I already sent an email and called them, I was told I'd receive a mail soon.

Yeah, I'm sure you received the mail and did your speaking test yesterday.
That of benin has been postponed.

It showed 100% complete at the 6 months mark. Then I ordered gcms notes which I got 2 weeks ago and the ONLY review required was on statutory question (Have you been refused visa) which I answered yes to and explained. The notes clearly stated that the duties in the reference I submitted matches the lead statement and duties for the NOC. So imagine my surprise today. My VO is Montreal and they are really slow, many August and July even May AOR have still not gotten so it was not too strange, although frustrating, waiting 9 months.

I am trying to appeal o, just not going the legal route of court appeal. I am getting an updated reference letter from my employer and writing a letter of explanation to appeal. I am really praying for grace.

Please is there any WhatsApp group for AVO? Can I be added to the group please? Just found out that I have been fortunate to have them as my VO again, after my first refusal from them. My number is 08154002097 thank you.
Hi jpj, looks like your appeal on refusal for NOC was not honoured. I am in the same soup, any advice.?

I hope it all works out well. Please, I have some questions for you.
1. Did you use the pnp route
2. Was it your current job reference letter or the previous ones you had issues with.

Like someone suggested, go on Canada Visa and do some research for similar situations then make your move. And you should do it soonest as I think they give like 1 week to respond. So contact your employer Asap to make the necessary adjustments.

Hi all,

For those having WES/ETX issue, theres a guy on Twitter (Tunde Omotoye) with handle @TundeTASH who is a WES Canada ambassador among other accomplishments.
I think you all can reach out to him about the inefficiencies of ETX-NG and while WES should not force it on anyone blah blah.....if several persons reach out to him I imagine he can help reach out to WES with a higher chance of being favourably heard.
He's kuku their ambassador.
I honestly think this may work. Besides, u stand to loose nothing reaching out to him.

P.S:
I have a completion date for my ECA report so I'm unaffected by the ETX situation.

Hello everyone,

I’m under the PNP stream. I submitted my Medicals on the 8th of May last year, a little over a year ago. It’s supposed to have expired but I’m yet to receive PPR or a request to redo it.
I contacted IRCC and was told my application is still ongoing... I read somewhere that some people’s Medicals were extended but I haven’t received any update from IRCC to that effect.
I’d like to know if this extension is true and if there’s anyone on here in the same situation as me.

Thanks

Hello house Please has anyone done yabatech transcript online before?

I am trying to do yabatech transcript online as school has not yet opened but got stuck at some point because my OND matric number was matched with my HND instead of my OND and no where there to change it.

It could be a database error.

Some staffs are in school but students are not.

Hello House,

Please I have a question on my NOC. My job description is Human Resources/Legal Officer. On the NOC site, Legal officer and Human Resources Officer are two different NOC's, however I do both job functions. My question is can I pick just 1 e.g Legal Officer as my NOC because my ECA is for Law and I also don't have any certificate for HR. I haven't created my Express Entry profile yet and I just want to be safe.

Thanks.

If IRCC wanted you to redo medicals they will inform you through ADR, however the people that were given medical extension are those who got ITA before the lock down. They definitely would not hv been able to do medicals within the 2 months coupled with the interstate lockdown because medicals can only be done in 2 states (abuja and lagos).
I believe if IRCC wanted you to redo medicals they will inform you, so no stress for now on that.
As for your NOC wahala didnt you look through the NOC specifications on the NOC link before drafting your own?

hello people...please i got ADR to submit some documents but the place holder to submit is not showing on my profile....what can i do apart from raising a cse?

When you send a CSE with the additional documents, there will typically be a response to the CSE in a few days saying docs have been received and passed on.

I had an ADR, there was a placeholder where I updated what was requested........... but I also updated the same docs with a CSE and I got a response saying the docs have been passed on to the relevant visa office.

So if you can't see a placeholder (double and triple check with different devices though that the placeholder isn't there), not to worry a CSE should be fine. All the best.

My guess (na guess o) is that you can pick either. I would advise you go with the NOC that is most closely aligned with the contents of your JD. Unless you are a PNP applicant your degree is irrelevant, as per my understanding.

Assuming you have only one JD but it covers both HR and Legal, if the the HR part of your JD has 6 items and the Legal part also has 6 items, pick the NOC for which the NOC description (not title) matches most closely the majority of items. For example if the Legal NOC matches only 3 items from the Legal portion of your JD and the HR NOC matches 5 or 6 of the HR portion of your JD, then safest probably to go with the HR NOC. All the best.

I'm in a dilemma here. I just registered my business with CAC. I've been into the business since early 2018 and I can easily claim two years with it. Sadly my CAC certificate came out dating it for March 2020.
How else can I explain that i legit started it in 2018? I have the association receipts from 2018 till now.

It would raise red flags, except you can prove beyond reasonable doubt you started at that time. Like a Federal document dated 2018 when you started.

For people with Wes/EXTng issue, I don’t it is compulsory to use them. What you can do is ask whoever is in charge of sending transcript in your school to send your transcript via email. The schools have Wes email address and you don’t need to provide it. This might require knowing someone on the inside.
PS: this is my experience with Unilag, I help people process transcript, so this is first hand experience.
