Its very possible. But considering the high rate of refusals, I would advice you consider the PR route since you already have a masters. Thats a more guaranteed route than the study. But if you still wish to give the study option a trial then be prepared to be convincing enough to the visa officer. My 2cents Lloyds123: 3 Likes |

Please I need suggestion on the best way to go. I am yet to apply for my SP and understand only the admission letter needs to be uploaded at its section. However, I have been offered admission letter for fall earlier and recently received a deferral letter till winter now. How do I attach the two letters or do I need to attach the deferral letter alone? |

Hello everyone, I need some help with my study permit application. I will appreciate if the Gurus here can help me answer some questions. 1. My Mother is my sponsor and the statement of account she provided is a different account from her Salary account, It’s where she saves from her business and salary. How would I explain this in my Statement of purpose. 2. Will stating that she has other dependants affect my application? Thank you |

Hello house Please is it ok to compress my docs in a zip folder and upload, that way I can title individual documents. Or I should just combine the documents into one? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Insanity(m): 10:32am On May 22, 2020 |
milo9: Any form of official ID is okay such as Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence etc.. I'm using attestation of birth for my parent. |

Have you tried uploading the zip file and it was successful? I still think combining is better librangyps: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Frankrobbn1: 11:20am On May 22, 2020 |
librangyps: You can't upload documents on mycic online portal with a zip folder. All documents must be combined with one pdf according to their various sections. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Caleb2222: You have to approach the police state CID of imo state for a copy of your PCC. Your details will be collected and transported to Police Headquarters at Alagbon - Ikoyi, Lagos for proper processing prior to be sent back to you. The process might cost you 10k-15k from imo state. Although in Lagos it's just 3k. More importantly, PCC is an optional document for a study visa applicant, and non-inclusion of it has no negative impact on your application. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Tracy2020: There is no much explanation needed. As already stated by you that's where she saves the money coming from the proceeds of her business and employment. A simple explanation as this from sponsor is adequate. Mentioning that sponsor (mother) has other dependants apart from you when she has excess of funds in her account in no way affects your application or her readiness and capability to sponsor your education in Canada. You only claim you're the sole dependant when she doesn't have much in her bank account. I hope this makes sense to you It will end in praise |

Lloyds123: Go for a second masters program that is not directly related to your undergraduate degree/ previous master's. You can opt for an MBA program or any management program provided is not in tandem with your past education. Provide convincing and well detailed explanation as to why you're switching into this field of study. I know several applicants that have done this in the past and even in this present time and were approved of their visas. It's much easier to convince the visa officer when you're going for a degree that is different from your already acquired degree especially when you've previously attained a master's degree. It will end in praise. 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Frankrobbn1: 11:48am On May 22, 2020 |
ralfudoh: Well said bro! However, there haven't been any draws since January for outland express entry stream applicants and no one can tell when they will start as per CIC news. I think a second master's degree program would help in his case, so long as he can present his case in a justifiable manner. It will end in praise. 2 Likes |

Is it ok to classify offer of employment and confirmation letter under client file and place reference letter from work and payslips under financial file? 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Frankrobbn1: 12:24pm On May 22, 2020 |
librangyps: There is no way to do that. On the other hand, you can only do that when you scan the document and take it to Microsoft, then write on the document afterwards you save it and convert to pdf. Meanwhile this is a long process, it's better you lumped all financial documents in one pdf. It will end in praise 1 Like |
