While I was in 100l there's a particular data we talked about and we say it is less than 1% in Nigeria. Throughout my time in the uni we kept on saying that "less than 1%" statement. Nobody knows if it's 0.1% or 0.99%.

I've graduated and worked for a while now and the general consensus is still the figure is less than 1% with nobody telling us the exact figure. This was why when Larride said the 2014 may not be valid anymore I had to ask him for the 2019 figure if he has access to it.

It's true the Herdsmen vs Farmers clash predates Buhari's ascension to power, but u will agree with me there has been a sharp increase in it ever since became president. I had a friend while serving in the north who happens to be from plateau state. Very articulate young man. He examined how Fulani's when permitted to make raffia huts to settle a bit in Ur comminty will suddenly become intolerant and start communal clashes. This was pre-Buhari Era. But with Buhari's presidency these guys have now become a menace with the presidency always believing the Fulani must have been wronged before they could unleash mayhem on their host community

The bolded is true. There has been. a considerable increase in these clashes since 2014 and I sincerely doubt they are all reported or data collated as it happens to get exact figures of deaths, injuries, loss of cattle, razed farmlands etc.

The truth is that no one captures these data when its happening, it is always after it has happened like months and years after we would now be scrambling for data and by this time, it can never be accurate.

We ran HIV/AIDS test one time and wasn't able to cover up the target points, due to my Boss and the state execs sharing the funds amongst themselves, we just did 'our thing' and submitted. Worked the maths and said the % of people living with HIV/AIDS is so so so and so in x community. When my state boss was reconciling the data, he worked with what was given (correct or not).

Mind you, we were working for a reputable organization then; WHO and you know how sensitive they are with data.

What I'm driving at is that the data most International bodies are working with in Nigeria is not correct. The % is wrong.

We wrote essays, letters, summary and comprehension passages which were wtittten on the board for the students . The principal contracted us because he doesn’t trust English teachers in his school who studied NCE Arabic.

After everything everything , the principal paid us handsomely and took us to the district head to pay homage. He was happy to see us and was grateful we came to help his subjects pass a very hard subject . This is an educated man o .

Armed robbery has been on the increase since Obasanjos regime and I really doubt there is any data online to prove that armed robberies increased significantly in this regime compared to others. If there is, please show me.

Don't start about Kidnappings man, we witnessed high taste kidnappings during the last regime ranging from MENDS, MASSOB and other private bodies who used kidnappings to generate funds for themselves. There has always been high rate insecurity in Nigeria and we cannot just say it increased this administration if there are no verifiable proofs to it.

This is exactly my point. Whoever has experienced some of the weird stuff happening underground in this country will not swallow all figures and data being churned out as fact ; especially when u've experienced how bias people can be with these data
