You're just too poor to afford. 32! I have seen the cars on your road - the average age is probably 20yrs: The same with Ghana.

Kenya's cars are at least 10yrs old on average. Nigeria 20yrs - Ghana is probably 25yrs

Nigerians don't go for Volkswagen, we do more popular brands. Why should we buy what isn't a popular ride in town. My estate as a whole has no single Volkswagen car. I don't get your ish. I'm sure Ford brand us worse because we don't go for them

Compare its value to high value crops

High value crops generally refer to non-staple agricultural crops such as vegetables, fruits, flowers, ornamentals, condiments and spices. Most high value agricultural crops are those known to have a higher net return per hectare of land than staples or other widely grown crops. They therefore generally have a monetary value higher than staple crops in emerging and expanding local, national, regional and global markets. High value crops and products present an ideal opportunity for the poor in many developing countries to increase their income by participation in commodity value chains, provided there is effective vertical coordination to ensure that supply is in relative balance with demand.
Farming is a business. In order to farm the so called high valued crops,a farmer will invest more money than farming a low valued crops like maize and beans. So in business sense, the one who farms maize, and the other who goes for something like vanilla, there is no much difference. The real difference is how much cash is buried in the soil!

The higher you invest the higher the returns. That simple. If you invest near nothing you earn next to nothing.

The global palm oil market is expected to hit $92.84bn next year ...

You don't get it. If you have big land - it makes sense to plant low-value crops at a large scale. If you are small-holder farmer - then it make sense to engage in intensive agriculture in high value crops.

So if u import from Brazil, and sell to Botswana is that something to celebrate.
And you don't buy raw.Sugar is sugar. You just buy cheap sugar from Brazil and repackage it with south African brands like illovo, bullets, etc. Then u export to Botswana,Swazi, Lesotho, zim.
Nothing special on that

The land is everything in agriculture. Likes of Isreal, Netherlands, and Kenya engage in intensive high-value crop production because of land scarcity - while Russia with land about size of Africa or Brazil or US or China can afford to plant cereals and sugar in large scale.

price of Tea is 420 dollars per metric ton

Price of palm oil is 639 dollars per metric ton
TayserMahri:

Feel bad for you bro...a kilo of palm oil is a meagre USD 0.8 while a kilo of tea is a whopping USD 232. Less than a dollar for palm oil.

You're probably too poor to afford palm oil

The countries with the highest volumes of palm oil consumption in 2018 were
Nigeria (1.2M tonnes),
Egypt (959K tonnes)
and Kenya (705K tonnes), with a combined 31% share of total consumption.

And you only produce about 0.7M - if you had stuck to Palm Oil - you would be making billion of dollars - and poverty will be less - far less than now.
