So they should carrying same passengers in a bus that has the capacity of taking 71 at a go and at same price and u want them.to continue abi?
Is the buses free or for social servixes or for making profit.and why is it that whenwver u hear somebody to be tinubu, they are always related ro jagaban ?
Leta put people in our shoes.
These buses are meant for profit making amd not for social services and unless they increase their fares,it wont reflect new realities on ground at all
Then let them increase it and pay for the diesel supply they are owing. It's a business enterprise to start with. Oga, I'm a well read man, I'm not guessing but I'm telling you plainly that this belongs to Tinubu's relative, kindly quash my comment if it's a lie.
BRT ferries over 150,000 passengers daily so don't tell me that they are not making money.

Everyone must benefit from the current crisis. Did they not carry out their feasibility studies and projects before embarking on the business?

You guys are f*cking running a private business more or less. Do what you gat to do to stay in business or quit. Some people are ready to take up the available opportunity am sure.
the company has pointed out the problem that a 70 seated bus is now carrying 21 passengers due to social distance and at same old rate, and I guessed the government will direct them not to increase fares, because the normal thing for a private business to do is to increase fare by 40-50℅,so what they are doing is the smart move to force the government to pay the subsidy, because as the MD pointed out that they are not running a social service.

If not for BRT I Wonder what would have happened to many Lagosians. I hope the govt. do the needful because it is calamitous to spend 3k to nd fro work within Lagos on a daily basis with majority of private firms not paying salary for last month.

Private business that now has to carry 20 people instead of 70 people because of Government directive, come on guys let's be fair.

The fares of those buses is regulated by the government.
Government determined the farr and has stipulated how many people they can carry, is there anything private about that ?

I know bus owners will either withdrawal their services or increase their prices.. Its only people who don't know how difficult it is to run transportation business that comments without reasoning. How hard is it to calculate that a bus that once carried about 60 people now carries less than that on the old price, were will the money come from for maintenance, fueling, payment of salary e.t.c.

Upon the huge capital free profit they are enjoying in this corrupt Bus business they can't still manage it well,..Despite being a private business I am sure the owner is waiting for Lagos State govt to bail the.out once more

Bro, see, all this news na format...

All they want to do is maximize their profits.

NURTW members have increased fares across lagos since they are not operating 100% capacity.

BRT was not exempted but on old fares...

Once the state government asked them to increase fares or a kind of subsidy, you will see how they will operate optimally.
