If they like they should build a MTK chip that will be more powerful that the best Snapdragon chip for the fact that MediaTek won't release their source code to developers will never make any sensible tech person consider that chipset.
If you want to really know how strong or weak your phone is flash a new ROM then you will know if you have a powerful device or an overated phone slapped with camera sensors with high numbers.
Everyone has his/her preferences but to me there are 2 main people about gadgets
One will ask you how many megapixels do your phone have or runs straight to the camera to take a picture
Second will ask what SOC it's using, you these people if you open your mouth and say MT Kini Kan Kini Kan .. they'll just look you and laugh internally because they no that no matter how speced that device hardware may be that chipset is just holding it down.
Enjoy your devices and have a wonderful night rest.

Make I go check whether na Snapdragon chipset been dey Gionee M2. One of the strongest phones I've used. The only phone I tweaked like mad; changing ROM on a steady. That phone held up like mad, till one idiot stole it.

this emboldened text pretty much means no iPhone is powerful (since you can't do custom roms), despite the fact that their flagship A13 Bionic chipset is one of the best mobile SoCs currently in existence.

Flashing new ROM would determine if a phone is powerful? Really?

The way some of you say nonsense with so much confidence ehn, I don't understand. I get that you have an anti-MTK bias, but this is not a sensible post at all.

I don't really want to insert myself into a matter that doesn't concern me but errm... Unless my eyes are not attaching to my brain very well, I believe you need to read what was written again to correct your misunderstanding.

The person said to flash a custom rom so that you are better able to judge your phone's performance, they didn't say that if you don't (or can't) flash a custom rom that a) your device isn't powerful or b) there aren't other ways to figure it out.

I'm not saying one person is right or wrong about mtk or whatever but your response to the post was umm... how do I say lost. Yes, it was a bit misguided. I hope I have finally set myself up for a punch this early morning.

U pipu should shaa take it easy

Pot calling kettle black. You dare say I assume something. What doesn't pain you?

If I assume things, you won't also assume this in your last reply to me:

"You quoting the last part sums up everything about you"

What do you know about me? But I definitely know that you are aggressive and abusive. That's a fact many people know here. You can insult someone inside out because of phone from today till tomorrow.

Very funny you always accuse people of exactly what you are guilty of.

Mine actually didn't get to 100%, it just rebooted from 90.73% and the boot-up logo came on but the boot up logo took a good while, around 3 to 5 mins before it came on.

It's been like this sha since the shift to MIUI 11. My keyboard head don correct sha. I think after the update, some internal processes were running so it bogged everything down.

My battery actually feels better although I'm waiting for the heat to come today before I celebrate embarassed embarassed

So long as my bootloader is locked, I do not fear about bootloops or bricking.

Good morning.
