In this market, impossibility is nothing. I have seen Zenith come down to 10 naira twice in the last few years.. in fact it came down to 8.9 while gtbank was 13+ so what are you talking about?

Invest wisely!

Everything has a season. There are times for lows and times for highs. Do you know that there were times that when banks released wonderful results and they still lose 10% daily?

I want to believe that this period is the reverse of that period. I may be wrong in my assertion but let the future be the judge.

Great Rabbi, kini ifa nwi on the matter? Your opinion. It won't be used against you as purchase alert grin

So long as you bought around Mid-March 2020, just forget your login details grin grin

Except if there is a major global issue.

The only global issue we see now is the recession which had already been factored into the fall in February - March 2020. And there has been palliatives to ameliorate the impact on people around the world.

Now with companies/countries opening up, economic numbers that will be reported in May for most countries will be better than those reported in March and April (these months were the height of the lockdown). So this will even give more buy signal to investors.

The euphoria has not started o. When e start, you will feel it. Right now people are still confused if market will rise further or fall again. And like play like play, it is just going up jejely grin grin

Those who sold out of fear are kicking themselves as they see price inch higher and higher. May it not be your case!

You said you only trade with margin.
Is not obvious that those that went short on btc with margin from $7600 have been liquidated and you are still defending your call.

Caberton has done well by putting out information that 2020 is going to be a tough year for the company. If you see it at N1.50 it will not be a bad idea to buy for long term.

I doubt if March low will be retested during this period except something unexpected happens globally.

Meshpips is so obsessed with his VAP tool that he can't rejig the parameters. You can't make money like that.

I have explained to him that VAP has limitations and that has to do with not seeing in-between peaks before reaching the trough. That happened in his call around July 2019. He didn't see the rise that happened during December 2019 to January 2020.

Rabbi the Oracle, your analysis is correct. We might still retest the low of March. Global markets still sketchy in my own opinion. In all, one makes more money in volatility than stability lol

The AIICO q1 result is a continuation of aiico's management practice of depressing the financials to keep the stock price low so they could finish whatever they need to do. The current need is for the MD that was appointed lat year and had no shares before to accummulated shares and is currently doing it at relatively low price. Look at that q1 results again. The last line is a finance cost of slightly over =N=1 billion naira. This is a company that is flushed with cash and government securities. The only liability in their book is the IFC loan of $7 million. I will even grant that included in that finance cost is maybe =N=350 million in the depreciation of the naira and you add that to the normal quarterly cost of about =N=50 million related to the loan. That is still =N=400 million, a good 600 million less than what was charged. But you know what, let's even leave it as the first quarter charge, unless naira completely goes to the gutter, it will not recur in subsequent quarters. That gives you an idea of what the year will look like. This is is addition to an unexplained charge of =N=975 million that AIICO continues to charge every quarter to add to the 'other contract liability' line. By the end of the first quarter, about =N=6 billion has been accummulated on that liability line that AIICO has never explained to whom or what product they owe the money to. Every quarter, it's a charge to the P&L with a credit to that liability. I have checked the financials of other insurance companies and they don't have anything similar. Lastly, you have to consider that the Leapfrog investors bought at =N=1.20. they are no fools if you research into them. They must know what they are buying into.
Ordinary MD, where are the board of Directors and Majority Stake-Holders........................... AS an MD Why wait to receive ur share from Bottom Line when You might as well inflate the cost of Premium Written, I must admit in corporate circles the kind of allegations being laid here should result in the type of Show down going on between Wale & Mangal of Oando..........emmanuellewummi once mentioned of when Access tried to stage a hostile take over of Afri-Bank and how It was Countered, I should believe Majority Owners are not sleeping...................................................................................................... Anyway Aiico is on my radar but I would patiently wait as I dont see Aiico in the league of Custodian in 5 years time

hmmmmmmmm, I think new management started well as there was a record improvement in sales, we have to factor, border closure and Covid-19 that lead to the Govt reducing Pump price of fuel(125) due to the reduction in the price of crude this period, The marketers happen to be the Price takers in this case.................................... We seem to forget so quickly.

History repeats itself time and again.

I mentioned to y'all that there is a major error in the method used for computing VWAP and as such, went ahead to correct it and create my own VAP.

@onegentleguy who called me a "demented jackhead" even told me that VWAP cannot be applied outside the confines of intra-day trading and I told him clearly that the same principle can be extended and used for longer periods.

The analysis for GUARANTY was from yearly open, high, low, close and volume values spanning the last nine years if I still remember.

I told the price from which it would bounce aforetime.

None other on this whole thread agreed with me.

E don happen now yet people still dey open their mouth follow me talk anyhow.

WHEN DUE DILIGENCE BECOMES PROCRASTINATION BEWARE!
Generally, we are told “do your due diligence” very good and important, however, let’s be careful sometimes in the name of due diligence one may end up in procrastination which is fueled by fear most times.
Especially for those just joining or about to join the investment journey, don’t give in to procrastination in the name of due diligence. Due diligence should lead you to making reasonable and informed decision within a reasonable time otherwise the delay in making that investment decision has become procrastination which is also exhibited by the fearful.
Remember fear will hinder you from making the money you aught to make and greed will make you lose the money you already made.
Sukuk bond, other bonds, mutual funds – MMF, VGIF, even stocks are out there for you to take the opportunity. Don’t wait too long in the name of due diligence. Some of the investment windows are time bound. Make a move and invest. Nothing to small, just start.

Hope you saw the conditions I gave for GTB to get to 19 you stated then? Recession and oil price crash.

And in 2020, both happened as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

If you say Zenith will hit 11.90 first then fall further to 9+, Zenith can't do this on isolation. It will be a general fall for all banks or all stocks of NSE.

So what is your call for other banks and state the timeframe that this would occur?

After you do that, I will state my calls as well with the same timeframe you used . Let people here and future be the arbiter.

My concern is that your system doesn't make you money. Your system should make you money whether leveraged or unleaverage. But you will say you don't trade NSE because it isn't leveraged.

A challenge :

State the price of

GTB
Zenith..... This you said 11.90 first, then 9+ later.
UBA
Access
FCMB
Fidelity
FBN

And state the timeframe for the decline.

I will give differing prices and state timeframe. Then we will revisit after the stated period.
