I have sold domains in the past! I sold my first domain on eBay around 2003. I have pushed domains only within the same registrar namecheap. It was free push. It was not an external push.

someone have registered it already, though most endusers in this area are using "roofing" not "roofer" .. domain ain't balanced anyways.. anything fit sell. God speed to whoever bought it.

Yeah I agree with you that the name can be trickish "roofers", "roofing" but what makes it looks good to me is that it has good number of end-users.

Come to terms with the trend.

SH approval or rejection has nothing to do with Basic Plus. Almost any domain name can be listed as Basic Plus.

People here saying they have SH approved names are referring to PREMIUM names only.

I still feel a name still needs to go through the approval process even if it is not accepted as premium.

Sir, if you don't mind, just go back and start reading from page 1.it will really help you. Even if Mike Mann or Rick go out of domaining for years and they come back, we will still refer them to page 1.

My candid advice is that you stay away from SH for now. If you can read from Page 1 you will learn alot. If you can't, just look for theRealMcCain's thread on SH and Brandables, read and then try your luck with SH again.

My opinion on SH matter.

So far the review experts are not endusers, they are bound to make errors of judgement. SH knows this and that's why there's option to appeal and to resubmit after 60 days.

What SH is after is to accept names that they feel are most likely to sell going by trends and experience. Afterall, they are taking risks and they want to take the ones with higher prospects.

The reason why people submit as brandable is for your domain to be searchable and to have better exposure.

My Outbound Method

I'll try to discuss extensively on how I Outbound, it may not be for everybody, because I don't use any email scrapper or Mass sender. Also it's strictly for those that use or intend to use phone for Outbound. I have never used computer for Outbound, so i can't say anything about PC.

Why I don't use Mass sender and email scrapper?

The best and most effective method is to use manual method (as read on NP), although it's less efficient in terms of timing.

What I need?

*my phone and data
*Time
*Internet connection
*Chrome browser
*Boomerang Gmail interface (or whatever they call it)
That's all.

Where I source endusers?
Initially i used Bing, and it was working good. I didn't use Google because bing tend to bring up the keywords better.
But lately I'm experimenting Google map, and it's working fine so far.

Do I send individually or Mass (CC, BCC)?
INDIVIDUALLY. More effective, more chances of avoiding spam, and easier for me when I want to follow up.

The Method?

1. Before i buy domain and make sure i see strong and steady Number of endusers, nonetheless there is always exceptions i made. e.g there is domain i saw only about 10 endusers and i still purchased it, 2months later it sold, another had about 10, 24hrs later it sold.

2. I determine estimate of endusers by entering the keyword on google, say, the domain is Vegas Autoshop, i enter"Vegas Autoshop" on Google without quotation. I click on "more places", check pic 1.
I scroll quick and determine rough estimate of end users, keeping in mind some may not have website link. If I'm convinced, i go ahead to buy domain.

3. I then click on the 1st business, it will take me to pic 2, i then long press on "website" and click on "open in new tab". See pic 3

4. I do the same above for the 2nd business, 3rd, and the rest. For those that don't have website option, i skip.

4. After opening each business on new tab, i then come back from the first, check the site and look for the email. once i see it, i click on it, it will redirect me to boomerang (gmail interface for tracking email) see pic 4, then I'll send the email via boomerang.

Where do I see the email in the website?
The first thing i do once i enter site is to click navigation button and go go "contact us" page, there i usually see the email address. If I don't, i quickly look for Facebook icon and click, it will redirect me to their Facebook page, sometimes u see the email there. If no fb icon, then i resolve to using the contact form. Disadvantage of using form is that the email address won't be their when I want to do follow up. Mind you, all this search takes for the email takes me less than a minute, I've been doing it for about 10months, so I'm quite fast at it.

After opening each email in boomerang, i paste my letter, select to allow notification when my mail is opened, send. Then move to the next tab/website.

How do I know my mail is opened?
Like I mentioned, i use Boomerang. I'll send a separate post regarding my experience with Boomerang.

How do I follow up?
I'll go to my "Sent" folder in boomerang, usually the emails sent for a particular Domain are arranged see pic 1. I open, click reply, Paste letter,select to allow notification when my mail is opened and send, then i slide to next email. See pic 2 for the slide.
I do that until i exhaust a particular domain, then i edit my sales letter and move to next.

Okay, I'm learning. My preferred marketplace actually is afternic but II've listed my domains there but are not being giving maximum coverage because they are still under 60 days.

I will also submit my domain name to other brandable domain markets. I have massive faith in Afternic as many here say a lot of their Brandable sales originate from there and not even SH. The same sentiment was expressed on Namepros.
