The centralized Executive congress on Wednesday agreed N47.2bn to boost clout contribute in the country.

It will fund extra 40 megawatts of might to the general grid, according to the Minister of Power, Mr garage sale Mamman.

He told federation council house journalists after the FEC meeting, which was seized by means of capture conferencing, that the 40 MW would be encouraged from the Kashimbilla blockade in Taraba State.

The minister stated, “The council approved the ministry’s memo for the revised estimated total cost for the augmentation of the subsisting contract in the sum of N4,235,303,821.90, to provide additional 40 megawatts, currently being generated from Kashimbilla, via Takum, Wukari and Yandev, to the national grid.”

Yes, for an hydro project, think between $2 to $3 million per MW.

It should be at the lower end of the scale if the Govt. is directly funding it though.
