I see two possibilities here. With the opening of most economies, if a second wave of Covid19 happens again, a sharp fall in the market is expected. People will scamper for safety and exit the market in a very aggressive way than they did in the first round. If there is no second wave or not so significant rise of Covid19, investors and traders are going to start looking for opportunities in the market. This should cause a sharp rise in prices of equities around the globe. Nigeria will receive a reasonable inflow of FPI and there after market will trade sideways. After this phase, any breakout will be individual and dependent on event in the sector or earnings posted by the company. 8 Likes |

PharmAlfred: There is no second wave. No mind them. Heat wan kee people for here. They should prepare for powerful hurricanes, typhoons, landslide after this heat. My fear is the excess liquidity. It is worst than the coronavirus sef. But I will enjoy it (as they bring it in NSE) while it last. Nkemjika! 9 Likes |

ositadima1: That means since his prediction in July 2019, you wouldn't have bought FBN, UBA up till this May 2020. 10 months of holding cash. Whereas both stocks have moved from a low in August - September 2019 to a high in January 2020. Then fell to another lower low (compared to 2019) and now marching forward. And that was why I 'jejely' explained to him that VAP will make you miss in-between peaks. And this is a grave limitation of the tool. 10 Likes |

Despite the randomized movement of its prey, a dragonfly brain processes the information and goes somewhere along the randomized flight path to wait for its prey. https://www.pdfdrive.com/the-stock-market-cash-flow-four-pillars-of-investing-for-thriving-in-todays-markets-d176132363.html It seems incomprehensible to me that people trust their money, their hopes, and their dreams with those who have run the financial industry into the ground. How can they do that? How anyone can trust people who were paid million- dollar bonuses (rather than being fired) is beyond me. Believing that these professionals, many of whom earn far more than you or me, care more about your money than you do, is delusional. This is why I am thrilled and excited about this book by Andy Tanner. And his timing couldn’t be better. If you know that it is time for you to take control of your financial future, this book is for you. https://www.pdfdrive.com/the-stock-market-cash-flow-four-pillars-of-investing-for-thriving-in-todays-markets-d176132363.html 3 Likes

Amaru04: You go lose money o. Try and read up what you are about to venture into. If you want to buy a house, you will do your own research and you will not tell someone to recommend for you. Or you go to the food market and tell the market women/men to recommend what you will use to use a cook soup? Do same for stock market. Instead post the research you have done and let people critique it and then you make your choice. 12 Likes |

The Brewery Sector has faced significant challenges in recent times caused by increased excise tax, changing consumer preferences and lower disposable income. Nevertheless for the following... International Breweries - Battered from all sides in the last 18 months or so, the price appears to be at consolidation stage at its long term support level. I advice investors to have this on their watchlists. There remains a very small probability prices could drop to sub N4, otherwise it will range at current price levels into Q3. A number of interesting things to watch out for is return to marginal profitability by Q3 20 as debt service commitments drops materially after successful rights issue. Debt/Equity ratio moved from 2.24 in January 2018 to 6.18 in December 2018 to 35.32 in December 2019. It now stands at 0.65 as of March 2020 which is not ideal but a great improvement from past periods. Rights issue effect was applied 100% to reduce debt. Revenue is not challenged but the company will need to focus on operational efficiency to make headway. Attention is being paid to this with wholesale change in management between late 2019 to now. Finally, they need to figure out how to stay out of NBs way. Have this on your watchlist but this is not an advice to jump in now. Strictly not for JIJO folks as there is no room to maneuver here. Champion Breweries - Fundamentals are okay with ready made market. Not recommended for long term holding. For Jijoist, if you can, jump in at 0.75k - 0.78k and plan to exit at 0.99k - N1.00 range. I believe these price ranges are all possible before year end. Another approach is to look at that 99k exit price and pick you entry based on returns preference. Guinness - This can get to 28.49 in next few months if not weeks if market divergence from overall economy trend continues. Remember, do your diligence or get alternative opinions on these companies and their likely price actions before taking any action yourself. 9 Likes |

TLAX: There is only one thing on the lips of international breweries Management and it's how to deleverage.....They are currently working for the banks and various creditors, I will know a turn around in this industry is near, when the bells of restructuring kicks off, the kind currently going on in wapco and uacn......This can only come about in an atmosphere of favorable govt policy........... |

Hello guys and gurus in the house. Please , can one reinvest on'es dividends directly without receiving it first . If it is possible ,how does one go about it |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by civilserva: 5:30pm On May 24, 2020 |
debostar: If you invested in Money market fund, yes you can reinvest dividend. As for stock investment, the answer is no. The reason is the dividend is paid by the Registrar and not the broker. You get your dividend paid to your account before sending to your broker for reinvestment. |
