Is it advisable to tender domiciliary account statement?

I would prefer using domicilary account statement than a regular Naira Bank statement because it exhibits that funds are already in convertible currency and can be easily transported to Canada. The visa officer at the High Commission of Canada approves it.

Weldon Mr Frank
Please all is set in terms of document needed.
with this 2020 fall online class, hope my son can submit his application for study permit tomorrow or he should wait till further notice.

Frankrobbn1:

It's confirm today from IRCC news! Fall 2020 courses will be conducted Onine due to the COVID-19 and this doesn't have any negative impact when applying for your PGWP in future. Automatically, you shouldn't think of travelling to Canada until after the fall term 2020. Students can begin programs online from outside of Canada and complete up to 50% of their program outside Canada.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC has disrupted so many plans and activities. However, keep the faith and hope for the best.

It will end in praise.

Has anyone received MEDICAL request without Biometrics recently ?

Its not possible to receive medicals when you've not completed your biometrics enrollment. As I said before, only the R10 check will be carried out by the Immigration Case Analyst at the High of Commission of Canada while the main immigration officer waits for your biometrics details prior to processing files. Biometrics is very important in the Canadian immigration policy.

Please proceed with the submission of his application. IRCC have confirmed that no application will be rejected for non-compliance of documents (e.g biometrics, updated LOA/SOA, and medicals) as every applicant will be afforded 90 days to provide any additional documents. Also, its imperative to let you know that the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic has drastically increased the processing times of most applications received by IRCC and this has resulted to delays in getting feedbacks especially for first time application.

A sister just gained an conditional admission at Royal Roads University, Canada to study Masters of Global Management and was given an online course to complete as it is one of the requirements for unconditional admission. The course is "Academic Writing and Critical Thinking" and must pass with a minimum final grade of “B-”70%. Please I will like to know if anyone here has gained admission into this University or if you know anything about the course. Thank you.

I know about the Masters of Global Management at Royal Roads University, BC, Canada. For your information, the prerequisite course in "Academic Writing and Critical Thinking" will cost you 200k+ in Naira and you're ought to complete this short prerequiste courses prior to your enrollment into the main master's program. More so, you will pay a tuition deposit of $5,000CAD to secure a seat in the accepted term. Now, this tells you how much knowledge I have for this program and other programs in Canada. cool

My advise is that you shouldn't spend that 200k because its non-refundable, I would suggest you pay the 5KCAD to secure your seat and apply for your study Visa.

Alternatively, apply to University of Windsor for her Master of Management in International Accounting and Finance. It's a good program and cost 31kCAD for the 16 months and Visa chances are high with this school than Royal Roads University. These are my valid observations so far since my 4 years of enriching experiences in this process.

Good day frank, please can I get a breakdown of why his mum is expected to have at least 9.5M?
Please I wanna relate it to my situation.
Muchos gracias.

From the applicant's illustrations - He has been guaranteed a scholarship of 9500CAD in a University in Canada. The total fee is 27,000CAD, leaving him with a net payment of 17,500 CAD. The stated that the school allows payment per term over the 3 terms. That he intends to pay per term, and have paid the first term fee of 5,800 CAD.

Now, the Net Payment of 17,500 - 5,800 = 11,700CAD

*Applicant's first year living expenses as advised by IRCC = 10,000CAD

*Miscellaneous Expenses = 3,000CAD

Total Net payment + Annual Living Expenses + Miscellaneous Expenses (11,700+10,000+3,000)= $24,700CAD.

24,700CAD X 286 (current conversion rate CAD to N) = N7,064,200.

Given the above calculations, applicant's sponsor is expected to have 9.5M and above i.e if the sponsor doesn't have much dependants.

I hope you understand my calculations.

@Frankrobbn1, this is so true. You really have the knowledge of the course and school as a whole. I would have asked her to do as advised by you but one of the requirements for seat reservation is a letter of registration of the online course after paying the 200k+. After the payment of 5,000CAD, she will be issued a letter which she will use to apply for visa.
With Royal Roads University, does she stand a good chance of getting her visa?

What is likely to happen if she does not meet up with the grade stated (70%)?

Hope to read from you.

Hello Nairalanders,

I am Olusoji, I have BTech in Fine and Applied Arts in 2012. Though, I have my company; CAC certified in Aug 2015 with Company bank account in Dec 2019. I want to study in Canada so as to link art with technology because I am a practised artist with science background. I prefer a 2-year post secondary diploma in Information Technology: web and mobile app development precisely over post graduate because it is hand on practice. I've paid confirmation fee of $500 to nbcc.ca and paying part of tuition fee of $4641 on 27th May for fall 2020 term.

It is a self sponsor approach because I'll be 32 years by Sep 27th.

My intention is to present gtb personal bank statement of #1,000,000 after I've paid $4641 fee to nbcc
Then present microfinance personal bank statement of #8,000,000
Then shares certificates that worth #2,000,000 in my name

I hope all this have sorted financial support.

Can u tell me what else to consider... though, I think I've done all I could but asking my fellow nairalanders opinions will serve as a lift and insight rather than my personal preparation.

Kindly assist were applicable. I can be contacted on email diverstouchcompany@gmail.com

Thanks

A post Baccalaureate diploma in Business Management should work perfectly for the applicant since he has been in the marketing and sales department for over 10 years now. I don't see any herculean task here as you perceive it as per convincing the VO because there is a logical progression in the applicant's career and the bonafide intention of the applicant in pursuing the proposed program in Canada can be confirmed through his vast working experiences.

Well, the both options are feasible and achievable and it also boils down to the rationality packaging of your application. I always advise prospective candidates with spouse and kids to apply alone while their family remains behind because the applicant's family would serve as a strong tie to the application. On the other hand, if you have adequate funds and significant ties back home, I don't see the need applying alone since you have tangible assets that can compel your departure from Canada after studies. I can barely count how many applicants I have assisted that applied with their family and still got approved. I think what the visa officer is looking after is to see that you're well established in your home country and the fact that you've adequate funds to cover for your family in Canada without recourse to public funds.

In a nutshell, either ways works flawlessly. The onus is on you to decide if you have the financial resources to embark on moving at once with your entire family.

If you finished with a 2.2, a post graduate diploma program should be your best bet. On the contrary, if you graduated with a 2.1, you should be applying for a direct masters program which shows an academic progression. Fanshawe and Langara college are good schools, your visa chances are great with these schools only when your intention is driven by a lawful purpose which is strictly to study and depart from Canada after studies.
