I won't be surprised if this Sukuk bond is oversubscribed.

Hello Mr Emmanuel

Please whats is your take on this Sukuk bond?

And do you think its wise to tight money down for that 7yrs

I have just got back my Principal from my TB and I am looking to invest part of it

And I am not sure if this Sukuk bond is the right thing.

Please I just want to tap into your experience on this

Thank you

2)secure a fg job in top parastatals/agency. Let's assume the salary for an entry level position is 250k excluding allowances.
We all know getting the fg job will not be easy but we also know with money and the right connection, one can buy a fg job.

My own is this: which FG job pays 250k at entry level at entry level excluding allowances? Or are you a doctor?

I want to know, I can even pay money for such a job.

Anybody else apart from this poster can respond, please.

Ikjosh04.
If I were you,I will go to Canada and do nursing.
You said your sponsor can only afford €14k and I hope you know that won't last your study time over there in the UK and you can't work there meaning you will come back to naija and be jobless and dependent too upon wasting €14k.
So go Canada,do nursing, start cashout, build houses back here and help your family by either buying jobs for your brothers or helping them move.
Engineering don't even pay that much in the west sef,na health dey pay especially for an African like you.
A smart person looks at his situation and adapt, rather than dreaming.
If you go UK go blow that money you go regret am ooo!
Dem plenty for naija here and are very jobless scrambling for 200k peanut jobs.
Use you brain!!!

Well said, I'm looking at Ireland cause that's what the financial capacity of my sponsor can handle and I'm leaning towards biomedical engineering.
For Canada, I'll like to go to Canada and I'll love to go to Australia but my parents don't have enough POF to do that and I don't have any one to help with that and canada scrutinize the pof very well. Things like why is the person sponsoring you, do the person have children and all that.

What is your definition of tying down your money, I invested money on real estate about 10 years ago does that mean I have tied down my money?

Go for the investment that suits your cash flow, experience and temperament

ECN, NCC, NNRA, NITDA, Galaxy Backbone, Nimasa, Npa, PEF, Ptdf, Firs, Cbn, Ppra, Dpr, Nnpc. Bro there are lots of parastatals that pay more than that for an entry level position and yes the person does not have to be a doctor.

No try that Ireland especially for someone with limited means like you say.
I get homies there but their parents get money so after their studies they have a soft landing spot back here in Nigeria.I don't think you have that,do you?
They are very backward people and are racist meaning they won't even hire a motherland nigga(hardly) so it is very certain you are coming back home after you postgraduate studies to come start afresh again undecided
Go Canada thread I think that 14k you talk about is enough, forget engineering if you ask me.
Look for short professional programs you can do and cash out early like nursing.
One year plus max and you start making 30bucks an hour rather than that engineering you are calling that no one might hire you,you don't even have the funds to study it or they deport your ass immediately after studies to the shithole.
Better than go Ireland in your case better use that money open shop,it will always pay you on the long run if you are serious and consistent.

With the way you call years, sir, it seems many of the men here are already 40+ or 50+. Or could it be that you people started quite early?

Are there really many under 30 like me on this thread?

Fixed Income, Agric tech and a little bit of equity. I hope to invest more in equity as the months go by but I am still trying to understand the dynamics of the stock market.

You seem not to understand what is meant by oversubscribed. i will also advised u tone down on ur views about Canada/Nigeria migration talk, so that people do not feel less of themselves being in Nigeria. as u can see some people are doing well in Nigeria . Also this thread is not for migration talk. my 2cents.

This is for the man that told us that he does not pay tithe, but helps the less privileged.

Deuteronomy 26:12 New International Version (NIV)
When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.
You are really doing well.

This might seem funny but it is the truth. It happens a lot in Abuja and Lagos Island.

I'm more of a fixed income person, although I started just last two years. I'm too lazy to learn about equities, stock, etc for now.

I think Theconglomerate has a point though. Some guys do what he's proposing. Maybe I should just sell my corolla and buy a Benz to join That Line of business. Hahaha.
