unfortunate ke? It will be very fortunate, Ezenwa has been occupying space that should be reserved for better players. He has been eating bonus money that should have been given to people who actually play matches. Even when he wasn't signed to any club, and without game time, he was getting call-ups.

Kelechi owes that fellow nothing, and he should be ashamed of himself that he came to type an entire thesis on Nairaland on top another man's money.

Does the guy not have family members? Does he know how many other people Kelechi is feeding in that village? So, because they were friends once upon a time, Kelechi should find his account number and send him money? Is it not the same Kelechi that moved his best friend to England and made him his PA?

The problem with people like that, is that you cannot help them once and they keep going, you must help them for the rest of your natural life. Before you know it, Kelechi will have to send money to him to feed his children and send them to school. Does he have a life-threatening illness, or does he just want money because he paid for viewing center whatever when they were growing?

Then, Nigerians will come and make people like this, think their feelings of entitlement are valid. It is not.

And one woman will marry this one tomorrow, and say she has husband. Someone that goes about looking for his wealthy childhood friends to feed him.

Even if Kelechi wanted to help him before, he has blocked that help with this idiocy. Let him go and find another childhood friend that is rich.

And I find it cute that some people think Kelechi has money to spare this dude, like say the guy no get family members.

God should help us, let us not come and cry on the internet on top another man's money
couldn't have said it any better. Even if he needs help it is not by emotional blackmail. Like you said a lot of Nigerians have this mentality which is very very sad

Kelechi owes him love.

Kelechi owes him kindness.

Kelechi is not his maker, anybody that tries to be Elshaddai shall become IShalldie. The only thing he might owe him is anything Kelechi borrowed and didn't return to the complainant.

I am happy for the following
Cyril Dessers being chased by Genk, Belgium
Chidera Ejuke monitored by Monaco, France
Maduka Okoye holding talks with Sparta Rotterdam, Holland
Daniel Akpeyi scouted by Belgian clubs

These are signs of improvement and progress

The only positive news here is Ejuke and maduka

Why will dessers move to genk? if he moves there then he is not ambitious, is dessers not the top scorer in the dutch league or 2nd top scorer?

Belgian clubs scouting a soon to be 34 year old daniel akpeyi ? baba tell me something i dont know

Dessers being scouted by Genk is not big news IMO...moving from Belgium to Netherlands and back to Belgium isn't a good development.

He should be aiming for France or Spain at least...

Yet Mane a francophone is helping a whole village on a monthly basis. All the friends of Nacho go worship his feet if he drops £50/month.

But here is one that has a childhood growth with him. This is just a bias in the name of friendship that Nacho can afford.

How come CR7 still has his padi up close and tight?

Its when its Nigerians, we all would start shouting " He owes him nothing, etc" sad

Nacho might have reached out. Tbings like this happens. And unfortunately, despite what we opine, he can help this one.

Desperation might have caused this

But as usual, while many say Nigerians feel entitled, its also Nigerians that see it as a big deal helping a friend in need. Why?

No problem.

Factually speaking, are you inferring you would not help a close friend if youre in a better place after a long length of no contact?

Shanghai Shenhua sporting director, Zhou Jun, has said Odion Ighalo would be a perfect fit at Manchester United.
However, Jun admits the Red Devils might have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, making it hard to sign the Nigerian on a permanent basis.
Ighalo joined United on a six-month loan deal from Shanghai Shenhua in the January transfer window.[/center]

Its a Nigerian thing, and 70% of the time it works. So i wont dwell on his desperation.

Many people will have money, but until they see a post on Social Media begging for funds, help, etc for a surgery, fees, sustainability, many won't react or drop a dime. We know how this things are.

Many are contacted through mails, etc, but all gets ignored due to busy schedules.

Its the desperation we can hinge on, not the fact that he wants a reconnecting with his childhood friend.

Food For Thought. (If your in position to help, do as much as it is okay with you.)

One of the best push Kelechi Iheanacho had in his career was from Pellegrini who was head coach of Manchester City when Kelechi was in his teens. Manchester City had the capability to buy another World Class striker for the team but Manuel Pellegrini kicked against it. He said and believed Iheanacho could do the task. His support led Nacho to success.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini insists Nigerian born wonderkid Kelechi Iheanacho has proved why he did not need to splash any more cash. The 19-year-old’s impressive hat-trick fired City into the FA Cup fifth round as they demolished Aston Villa 4-0.

City allowed Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko to leave last year, only signing Wilfried Bony to boost their forward line.

Pellegrini said: “I see him working every day so I know what he can do. Maybe I received some criticism why we didn’t replace Jovetic and Dzeko and I answered we had Kelechi.

Kelechi Iheanacho on Pellegrini farewell: "I won't forget him"

Kelechi Iheanacho is one of Manchester City's brightest young stars, and his rise has a lot to do with Manuel Pellegrini. And the kid is very thankful to the coach.

He is a special manager for me and has done great things in my life – he brought me into the first team, introducing me to work with the squad right from pre-season last year.

“I am happy for him, for everything he achieved with this team, and happy that he made me a part of it. I won't forget him, no matter where he goes."

I'll just not like it to get overflogged cos of his style of approach, an act of desperation for help. Its not the first, neither will it be the last. We should rather know how these things are like in reality, among lots of footballers.

Not all help, but we also know that if majority of them aren't helping, people will talk.. Normal. Since its a Ketekete Effect, just do the lil you can and look away.
