Locomotives still run in the US and UK for those bashing these coaches. Its a welcome development that the FG see through how connected cities through rail can ignite the development in the country. Thats movement of Good, services and people. Commerce generally I wish state governors can work hand in hand to carry out similar projects to connect their states. With constant power to support industry, you are looking at industrialization of the country. And I believe the German company Siemens is taking care of that. Revive Ajaokuta to supply local construction companies and factories their steel. With our youth engulf in tech. You are looking @ African regional power like China. "Have a look on youtube on the Men who built America and you get a glimse of what I am portraying here" Aisde from Nepotism and favourism that shadow the Buhari' govt, this govt is the best we've had since 1999 when it comes to infrastructure development. Thats why when people eulogise OBJ and you ask them to put fact to the table, they dont have tangible project to corroborate that. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Nigeria Acquires New Train Coaches by Nobody: 9:47am On May 26, 2020 |
NGpatriot: Very good point. Though the reason why they don't have high speed trains in America and other advanced countries (incuding the UK who virutally invented the concept)..is because of nosie pollution issue(a lot of people don't want a high speed train in their backyards,), and cost issues.(routing a train through an American city would cost a lot of money). Japan that has it?? Their government just built the thing in the 1960's without so much of an if you please from their people. (Sure it is now their national pride...but still...). 1 Like |
