Henderson and Van Dijk are highly overrated. The only players I see in that LFC team are Wijnaldum, Mane, Robertson and Firmino.

So many overrated players we have these days.
How Van dyke came 2nd in Ballon d'or beat my imagination. A player that run away from getting dribbled instead of tackling. Kudos to English press.
To think great defenders like Terry, Puyol, Cavalho, Ramos, R.carlos, Cafu, Vidic, Ferdinand, Nesta. Maldini, Stam, Godin etc never made top 3 all through their careers.

This idea of rating a player based on the titles he won for his team doesn't seem fitting to me. I mean, he's not the keeper, the entire defenders combined, the midfielders and attackers. So why should you rate him on that basis?

It is not about the individual players. It is about the team. In any case average Henderson lifted a trophy that some super captains have not been able to lift.

Topic.....van dijk is good but will he make a team with the likes of john terry, ramos, cannavaro, nesta, stam, vidic, ferdinand, thiago silva, puyol, carvalho to choose from? I wonder.

I have always known that vvd is an overated defender.

Can't compare him with those defenders we've seen on our screen in the last 15-20 years.

The kind of dangerous strikers and skillful midfielders we've had in the past will cost lots of damage to the current Liverpool defence.

Ballack is damn right.

I keep on saying it that by the time Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will resign from active football, that is when football will start loosing it's dominance in the world of sports.

All what they do now is goal, goal and goal. No skillful players of the likes of Ronaldo(Brazil), Ronaldinho, Okocha, Maradona, Deco, Zola and a host of many others.

The only two players who are in the league of the above mentioned Legends are Ronaldo and Messi.

I am a die hard liverpool fan but Van Dijk can't really hold Drogba that guy is full of surprises. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Okocha and Robinho those guy they call back destiny too. Dijk misses sometimes just that he doesn't charge at players recklessly
