Komekn,

You are one of the oldest member of this thread and you are still getting to know Safarigirl.

You highlighted her colourful imagination, but that is not all that she has in her locker.
Safarigirl has in her composition, most, if not all the attributions of a lawyer.

Her appreciations of the human psyche, her analysis and presentation of case scenarios and the intervening logical conclusions are top-drawer and very commendable.

She has also in her command, a very good memory.

Dear Komekn, Safarigirl is a good lawyer and she is doing what she has been crafted to do.

She hasn't chosen the wrong profession.

Anyone that wants have an argument with her must be ready all rounder. smiley

Napoli close on Osimhen
Football Italia3 Hours Ago
There are growing reports in France and Italy that Napoli have already agreed personal terms with 21-year-old Lille striker Victor Osimhen.

Footmercato, Telefoot and Sport Mediaset claim Osimhen has made Napoli his primary objective and worked out personal terms with director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli.

Although LOSC are asking for €80m, similar to the Nicolas Pepe sale a year before, the more realistic price-tag is €55m.

The Nigeria international was snapped up from Charleroi last summer for €12m and made a big impact in France.

He scored 18 goals with six assists in 38 competitive games for Lille.

Osimhen can play as a centre-forward, but also on either side of a trident attack.

I don't like this news. This is not where Osimhen should grow his career. No, not in the Italian league and not Napoli for that matter. There is no flair in Italian serie A. Their games are rough for a young player like Osimhen. Italian league is good for aging players

her intelligence and doggedness is just uncommon amongst ladies

Until a contract is signed by a player everything is just speculation.

A player like Osimhen will generate a lot of interest. However, to what degree these clubs are serious is open to debate.

We have heard Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, etc,.

My advice is he should go to a club where he will not have to be fighting for game time. In that regard Napoli is a good choice.

Going to a very big club at this very early stage of his development may not pan out as anticipated. It's better to build gradually and develop.

Italian league has changed overtime, not like the old men defensive league we used to know. That's why nowadays you see Atalanta and Lazio scoring 4+ goals in a match or playing over 4.5 goals matches. Even sassuolo, sampdora and fiorentina scores goals aplenty nowadays in Italian league. It was only when Gattuso took over Napoli that Napoli stopped scoring goals aplenty in a match, before Napoli could guarantee you a minimum of 2+ goals per match.
How many games has been played in the seria A this season and Immobile has already scored upto 30 goals already.
If Gattuso could reverse to Napoli former attacking play, I see no reason why Osimhen won't be scoring 20+ goals per season for Napoli in Seria A alone.

But seria A is better than the french leaque and Napoli are playing good attacking football.

What is it you really do Komekn?

Your knowledge about her being a lawyer was revealed by none other by herself, so, tell us what you do, so we can have something to pull you by, measure your proficiency in the field and also measure your intelligence accordingly, if you can't do this, then it'd be shameful of you, if you continue to bring up her profession whenever you want to have a go at her while subtly suggesting she sucks at it.

Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid are being linked with a move for Nigeria's most valuable player Wilfred Ndidi.

According to Spanish media outlet Defensa Central , Real Madrid have prioritized the signing of a holding midfielder in the upcoming transfer window to provide cover for Brazilian Casemiro.

Rennes teenager Eduardo Camavinga has been identified as Real Madrid's top target but the obstacle to a deal is that the France U21 international is valued at 75 million euros.

Real Madrid view Ndidi as a cheaper alternative to the Angolan-born midfielder who is wanted by almost all the big clubs in Europe.

Having said that, the Leicester City ace won't came that cheap as he is valued at 36 million euros by Transfermarket, the costliest Nigerian player ahead of Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen.

Ndidi has been a revelation since his arrival at Leicester City and he is contracted to the club until the end of the 2023-2024 season.

The 23-year-old has been linked with PSG, Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.

In order to appreciate intellect you must have some, in this regard define "character assassination" according to you and how I have assassinated her character. But in case you do not know FYI , Character assassination is a deliberate and sustained effort to damage the reputation or credibility of an individual.

Your Queen made an all encompassing negative unfounded proposition about all Nigerians in the diaspora founded on essentially nothing beyond the superficial. And i questioned it.

Something better than a Screenshot, Southie.

Look at the bolded italicised of your own words.

A direct quote of yours from October 20, 2017. The day you denigrated Osimhen without mercy lying on top that he had only played just 1 hr of football in Germany. Rings a bell?

You went on to say there is no certainty he would even make the youth teams of an English championship club while totally ruling out his chances at the youth sides of any EPL team.

That same Osimhen today is one of the most reverred young strikers on the planet.

I guess this will do and should forever serve as a lesson. And I got couple more. Wasn't hard to search out. Took me barely three mins on my return to dig it out.
And yes of course since this period between 2017 and 2018, you have tried so hard to choose your words when downplaying them these days. You take your shots subtly but then occasionally you drop some pearls of wisdom like a few posts back on Osimhen possible move to Napoli.
Sometimes you do try to confuse the thunder that wants to fire you but it's okay. grin

I only wanted to address that challenge so that it won't be said you didn't simply b'cos no one bothered to show you that you actually did.

Happy new year Southie and keep those hands clean to reduce the chances of contracting a certain virus aiit. wink Good to see you too. grin

komekn:

Osimhen is operating on past youthful glory as an U17 player, which is essentially small boys football. That as it stands is archived history of plus two years ago. No longer tenable or relevant for current assessment.

Currently, Solanke is the best player in the just recently concluded U20 World cup an accolade that is much closer to the professional senior game.

Solanke was already a regular on the Eredivisie as a 17 year old. Add to that was winning cups for Chelsea as the best youth team arguably in Europe but definitely in England.

Solanke is not just a bench warmer but a fully fledged senior team member for Liverpool.

Osimhen is struggling to warm the bench at Wolfsburg this is the reality. As it stands has he played up to one hour of football this season for struggling and lowly Wolfsburg.

This may be hard for some to digest but Osimhen will not enter the youth team of any top EPL club as it stands. If Indeed he could make the youth team of a Championship side that would be more probable but not certain.

So let's have no doubt Solanke is far ahead of Osimhen in every respect.

I believe we are getting to the point where this Covid-19 pandemic will be over but one must still be careful as it stands. Nigeria will not be where she is now with respect to the pandemic if we had acted fast and smart when we practically had only two cases two of which eventually recovered. We were slow and we are where we are now. But there is an end in sight. We just gotta keep doing things safely.

The right thing was done all over the world shutting down sports for a long while but it's good to see a gradual return of sports most especially the beautiful game of football. Still really pissed they ended the Ligue 1 just like that. Although Aulas, Lyon presido, for obvious reaosns, is still fighting to have that decision reversed.
