Question: My Edo people why don't you want Obaseki as your Governor.
Answer: Because he is fighting those that helped him ( Oshiomole and Kabaka) and his party members.
Anonymous: This is interesting, I never knew Nigerians care about party crises more than development!!!

The above response is a summation of what I have gathered lately from various Edo platforms and I think similar responses have also littered nairaland lately. What's your OPINION on this?

When a governor failed to inaugurate 14 lawmakers out of 24, do you expect those people from the 14 constituency those lawmakers represents to love the Governor?

Obaşeki is a miss fit as a Governor. For the last 4 years, the man has done nothing in the state. He kept fighting everyone in the state. I advice him and his Deputy to prepare to relocate back to their villages, after the good people ofrom Edo will vote them out by September.

It because the few individuals who have made money in politics can buy the media to propagate their selfish aims means Edo people hate Obaseki?
Let Oshiomole make the primary election free and fair without thuggery and see who is who.
Majority of Edoites who are not party members are behind Obaseki.

Secondly I am glad you made mention of money, you need to see how these Ize Iyamu boys are bombing everywhere online and are winning people over for their master, money determined elections In Nigeria not personality and that is why when you declare your interest to run for a particular office your party leader will meet with you one on one and ask you how much you have budgeted for the election, they always give their backing to the person with the fattest account which is an added advantage for the him or her.

Without having to spill insults at people because of their opinion, I expect you who is pleased with the performance of Obaseki to list one, some or all the projects he has executed.

At the end of the day, its not about Oshiomole but him and his 2nd term dream.
