Was taking a walk today and I remembered I have not shown you guys this funny part of the developed world. People rent basements here. In the last picture, they even use it as an office sef. Its very interesting to watch. I wil be on the road one day to locate an office only for the map to tell me its here. And I'll walk around like a dog chasing it's own tail. Only to find out its below Ground the ground level. I remembered when I still had my sight on Canada, when I checked their rent websites, i noticed that such kinds of houses are cheaper to rent because in the whole building, you'll be the first to freeze to death before others and Also your space become a Hotel whenever the denizens of the underground come to the atmosphere for their seasonal holidays. They will come up, chill and dine with you. You know them, Grumpy Mr earthworm, Glamorous Mrs Silverfish, Gallivanting boy centipede and the Gothic lady Millipedes. I hear government provided regulations for a livable underground hotel. First of which there must be a window, at least, when you're not a prisoner sentenced to a dark room of horror. When you think of it, a window makes the place feels great when you're inside. This is why we need government regulations that's executed.
Let's not forget that these houses were built over a hundred years ago. 80% of the houses here are that old. Infact Dublin has the world oldest hospital that's still operational even today today. Humans will always be humans, why do you think we have all the heavy duty cameras, devices in the guards car that scans your plate number and provides information, documentations, camera and wifi in the bhs and Luas and others. All of this is to ensure that brain works properly whenever youre here. When you know that once you break the law, MenInBlack will Jaywalk to door, then you put your hand in your pocket and shake him, he will smash his boot and salute you. If you try to try to bribe the cops, they might forget your many sins and bring you in for bribery and corruption. They might call it attempt to bribe an officer of the law.
Just imagine Nigeria wants to invest in such houses, imagine the sizes of windows theyll be putting , from some the size of 32 inch tv to size of a book, some might only punch a hole............Just to pass wire. There will be an extensive legislative law by the legislative arm in Nigeria, in fact, when you finish reading the law on the sizes of windows, if you're guilty, you might pee on yourself. Some of our actions of today will be ready for harvest when we're older and in generations to come. 14 Likes

Good good, We are trying to adjust. It's not easy at all. It's very good you brought this up.
Make person no enter prison for an harmless word. E shock me die mehn. I was shocked when I was taught in the Health training that when someone is falling, we should clear space and let them fall properly. I was like Nooooooo, I'm a human being, I cant let that happen. They said the person that is falling is safe. Because the body prepares it by relaxing the muscles. Its different when chewing gum falls on the ground and when a bottle falls. When you try to help the fainting person, you might lose your balance, contract your muscles, and fall hard. In the end, the good samaritan Carries last.
Them too, they're adjusting to us. They dont sing Black black black sheep song here in primary school Its offensive to my colour. How can the colour of my skin that I didnt choose be synonymous with evil and rebellion. And light with goodness.
If I see those graphics in my children church today, I'll shred them to pieces, some of them were offensive, I remembered that one of the caricatures of the Devil, had a similar colour to mine. I was wondering sha. Then jesus had long hair, pointed nose and tiny lips. My lips are full, I know how whites have complimented me on it. Plus white ladies do alot to achieve it, with injection and all.
If I woke up with a yellow skin, I'll be horrified, I'm proud of my skin and my hair. I used to relax my hair just to comb it, after combing, lots of my hair will fall out. I just concluded that combs wasnt meant for the African hair. I love my locs just the way it is. I've spotted whites with locs and I was surprised, their hair didnt lock properly cos it's not meant for them fully. I've spotted irish with extreme tan to achieve the black skin, and they look dramatic with pointed nose, straight hair and a not-so-natural darker skin.
Just as they adjusted to us, we also have to adjust to them. Ireland open its borders just 30yrs ago, they are not there yet, compared to other countries, but they are doing well. The court won't be nice to any Racist Irish. I'm at liberty to call the Guards on anyone, Employees, Employers, boss that makes a Racist comment. No one want to have it in their records that they were racist.
I'm trying to be like a Chicken, raise one leg and observe before making a move. Lol.. This one got me cracking ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) Nice one boss ![cheesy](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/cheesy.png) 1 Like |

I have been following you quietly for some time now,l.have posted once bfor, from what l can conclude about Ireland, it is a reserved country, they don't respond fast to technology, the culture is not diverse, Op if you think the place is boring, better try and relocate after your studies to UK or elsewhere 1 Like |

Chiggsglover: I didnt tell you what motivated me to drop the CannyUS craze. My admission letter was taking long to show, in June, I never see anything, going to lekki was just a journey. Very far and all. My friend at this agency that I told you I met weren't properly advised about visa application, this bullshit agency told us that you can get your visa by bringing any Dick and harry in the world with 5M in the account to sponsor you. I have already prepared one uncle to stand and be ready to submit account. This uncle failed and casted in future sha, all these UK people sha. What I do is that I go to the reception of the agency and chill. They have a TV that plays an eerie broken record of people testifying about visa success. They even film their houses, snap themselves in an airplane and all. I was like okay, then I started hearing one woman shouting, I was like THIS IS NIGERIA. I turned and saw a woman and a young man, the woman insulted them and left. First warning and I didnt heed. This agency made me pay 150k for admission letter, 100k after you get it. I paid the first one. Then I went there in June, no admission letter yet, my friend that applied to the UK got hers in two months after I applied. I went there to observe some more, this time around, a woman and a gangly looking boy was there. Mama spoke correct English, she abused, threatened to expose them on social media, she didn't say too much, that was it, I left there expecting to go to another agency to further my application thats how I met Ireland.
I got to discover that those people that attended to me were sales agents, just bring people to sign up, you'll get commission.
A proper agency job is to ensure you start life in a greener pasture your money can carry in whatever way Legally allowed in the country. I would have gone to Australia, but considering my purse, e no fit carry am, plus I dont like the weather. I love to walk alot, I dont like seeing my sweat. I haven't seen my sweat since I got here tho, I cycle for fun and sweat no dey commot, it's cool mehn. The weather isn't as extreme like it is in Canada and it doesn't get hot like Nigeria. Snow can do damage o, I've seen few snow like dust sha. Not so cold. Rain falls here and its just perfect for me.
Also the course you study is very critical, its vital to study a great course unless you'll be doing odd jobs. Ireland need programmers and IT experts, health experts are lacking too, With nurses. I did Economics as bsc that's how I am studying Data Analytics.
I must say that All the countries right now consider the nuclear family as sponsors, nothing like extended family, friends, pastor, Sugar Zaddy, Sugar mama, and what have you. I knew a girl that got the canada visa, it was her dad and the money he had was huge, close to 10M, hes a business man with a registered business. This agency pointed me to Ireland and that was it.

Today was marked the General Leg day.
The weather was 21 degrees. I walked around today cos I had some places to visit in the heart of the city. What I saw today made a journey of 10min, almost 30min, It felt like these girls knew I was coming. I fell for it tho. The looked as golden as my chicken drumstick after I take it out of the oven. I couldn't help but stare. I decided to move my body by walking more, you know its good for our health. Some of you will be riding in cars up and down. It's not good o. These oyinbo eh, some of them are not happy when they're too white. Maybe they feel like ghosts. They use cream and others to colour their skin hoping to achieve a tan. Or they go to UV machine treatment. Spending alot of money, when they can go to Nigeria and hawk for three days and their skin will be golden, it will look as if they were freshly baked. That reminds me of the man Trump. This man hides multitudes of sin with his humor. This is how it works. I make a blunder, throw a joke, everyone, including Trump best friend- The Media, have a good laugh about it and it passes. The media goes home and replay the video and pause before Trump throws in the joke and screams, Oh Shit!!!!! Trump tans his skin, I'm sure you all know that, from the circle around his eyes, that patch of skin around his eyes is pale- white....his true skin color. Is he not happy being white? Still he can be Racist to Blacks. I walked and fed my eyes to the beauties of Ireland. I kinda felt like the only muscles in my body that lifted alot of weights is my eyes. Good thing I'm not driving, if you hear I had an accident in the summer, you all know why. 12 Likes
