Americans are richer. For instance, Morocco offers free visa to Europeans even though they require a visa to most European countries because Europeans are richer and will spend foreign currency when in Morocco. Nigeria should institute a free visa policy to countries with GDP per capita of at least $20K.

It's not everyone that is interviewed. There are countries with visa-free policies. Moreover, if you already have a multiple-entry visa, you wouldn't need interview every time you are traveling.

They have not said anything but I think because they are in different states, you should probably follow the news of what is being reopened in each state and when.
