Ademola47:In addition to what Ademola47 has written, endeavor to be on Campus for the tutorials by either Team Tutors, Apex Tutorials or TBose(I'm not too sure if that's the actual name). You can actually try out the 3 and see the one you're most comfortable with. You do not have to hop from tutorial to the other, I don't know how people do that. However, you can compare notes with people from those other places. I am not promoting those guys and I don't know anyone who works at those tutorials on a personal level. However, with the results coming from those places, those guys must be getting somethings right. They'd definitely have the real past questions. UI's PUTME requires common sense in some aspects, no be only I sabi book. Work on your speed and accuracy. Know your constants etc(I believe UI omits such little things) and some necessary advanced stuffs eg electrophilic and nucleophilic substitutions. No calculators allowed, no wristwatches too. Know your exam venue before that day, it's usually sad seeing people running helter skelter on the day of the exam (it's needless to say this). Some venues can be so obscure even to stalites. Do not be intimidated. An examiner would most likely come to address you guys before the exam begins, "This is the University of Ibadan, not PolyIbadan, blah blah blah". Just focus on what you're there for. Also, don't look at other people's PUTME dockets to see how well you performed as compared with them. I wish you the best. Cc Nitroglycerin 4 Likes 1 Share |

Good afternoon all. Please how is it easy to get admission into Lasu mbbs? I missed the admission last year even though candidates with screening points lower than mine gained admission into the program. This year, I scored 300 in the utme and I have 1b2, 3b3 and 1c4 in my waec. From experience on the admission process at Lasu, any hope for me, please? BTW, any Lasu medical/Dental students and aspirants here? 1 Like |

Ademola47: 1. You don't need to cram the whole textbook.. Haba. Just solve a lot of P.Qs. That's where the onions lie 2. All the answers in the UI PQs are correct bro. Don't even think about it. I agree with the rest of your post though. On point. 2 Likes |

Davegoldglobal:Unless u know who is who in the system, lasu MBBS is very difficult. Let me just advice u, unilag is still more feasible than lasu as per admission is concerned. If u know u are from South west and u believe in ur ability, post UTME of unilag will be a work over for u. Just gather the right materials and read very well. If u are afraid of MBBS, u can switch to BDS. I'm assuring u, with ur jamb score, u have 80 percent assurance of gaining admission. 1 Like 1 Share |

Zico5: Thanks so much for your advice. I am from the SW. However, with my olvl aggregate of 16/20, I will need to score bw 26 and 28/30 in the Unilag post utme. This I consider very steep to attain considering Unilag putme format. For UI, I will need to score at least 85% to have an edge. This informed my decision to stick with Lasu. |

Davegoldglobal:I know a lady who got into LASU, MBBS with 254. She's from Osun but she had to obtain Lagos' state of origin certificate to be considered alongside strong connection and money. If you have such connection, money and willing to deny your state, choose LASU. Note: I'm an aspirant of MBBS, UI. 1 Like |

No one can say for sure when the exam will hold but it would definitely hold. They can call for PUTME at any time they feel is most convenient. The downside is the waiting period before resumption date. Students admitted for the 2019/2020 session were waiting to resume by May this year, apparently the feasibility of that is now zero. Only God knows when the 2020/2021 set would be resuming. Let's all just pray for the restoration of normalcy, that's when thing's can be placed in better perspective. |
