History is about to be set.

Elon Musk's SpaceX company is launching Man into space. It is happening tonight baring bad weather.

I am so excited.

Man is meant to conquer the universe.

Men look at the space module. Super sleek

Even the uniforms are getting a total design overhaul .

The inside of the module is super sleek too.

Sadly, I have noticed that Black Americans are not involved in the whole scientific process. They are too busy with gun toting, playing Grand Theft Auto and Hip hoping their lives away.

If the black Americans are at least interested in STEM , the ripple effect will be felt here, in Africa. They will inspire us more. Men, it will feel exhilarating to see a person of color, a black man stepping into Space.

Sad

With our continuous foray into the bounds of the solar system and nay the universe ,
One day, Man will touch the helm of God's gown.

It's a given. tongue

It is always old persons that get to enter Space modules while the young ones hack away behind the computer

This is wrong. Who says they aren't? These are people currently battling police problems and other institutional racism and systems skewed towards them. On the contrary, we are supposed to have advanced past where we are in Nigeria and to be a beacon of hope to them if we had our priorities right since the 50s.

On the flip side, I am also following the launch and I must say, the designers did great work, both for the suits and for the capsule. Isn't this the first touchscreen controlled Space Shuttle if I am not mistaken? Not too bogus but lots of iteration must have gone into that to bring out this final product.

Isn't this the first launch of NASA astronaut using a private company ie aren't we seeing the commercialization of space travel before us if this is successful?

Yes we are.

In Musk We Trust.

But I still think Black Americans are fallin hand.
Law enforcement America might be racist but NASA and all other academic environments favour intelligence over racial nonsense. Ever ask your self why Africans in America become successful in the Academics whereas the black Americans there don't.

What of the rich Music moguls like Dre Dr and JayZ, why cant they open up scientific ventures and employ more of intelligent black Americans. Even if they dont employ intelligent black Americans, at least they should make sure they get one black person to enter space. JAYZ is rich Ophrah is rich, there is no excuse for them not to have a Space venture.

I am just angry now.

Infact I shouldn't be.

Difference is clear but then, hopefully, Crew Dragon will be as reliable as Soyuz and Space Shuttle (before retirement) when it makes the same number of flights.

While I understand your grouse, the truth is in the end, we cannot tell private individuals who earned legitimately how to use their money.

And yet only one of those has flown more times than any spacecraft in history and holds the best safety record of any spacecraft, incase you don't know the spacecraft am referring to is the soyuz. Many times flashy doesn't mean good.
