From Bayelsa down to Crossriver and yet the Igbos allowed this nonsense and failed to challenge the land grabbers. In the old Eastern region, Kalabari and not Ijaw was one of the official language recognized. This is why you see a Rex Lawson singing in Kalabari and not some fictional Ijaw language. But the greater Kalabari was subsumed into a mythical Ijaw ethnicity after the war.
