Christianity and Christians generally do not understand the concept of good and bad, heaven and hell, who does what and who has the power to do what etc. The basic thing is, God is most powerful and He created paradise and hell. He also created Satan. God does not do evil, but He can allow evil to occur as a way testing our faith in Him. Evil can come from two sources: our own handiwork and from Satan and his disciples among men and jinn. Natural occurrences that are not due to Satan or our own effort will be a worldly punishment for some of our sins. An example of that is soddom and gomora story, the story of the floods in Nuh’s time. This last example rarely occurs. None of these happens except by Allah’s permission. To suggest that they don’t have Allah’s permission is to suggest that Allah or God is not most powerful and that everything is not within His control.

The problem of evil. I don't believe this argument is good enough to justify God's non existence. A more simpler question is can a being force itself into existence without a creator, since they say a being cannot exist without being created who is God's creator.

Rubbish have you read about the black death pestilence, the volcanic eruption at Pompeii, the deadly plagues of ancient times, if you people read you would realise that nature works in its own way without caring. Man created good, evil, society, religion and God to suit himself.

AIDS, diabetes, heart disease, malaria, measles, typhoid...these have killed millions more than covid19, and will kill millions more day by day.

For as long as man was alive there'd always been diseases killing man, animal and plant. And no one is spared, not children, not pastors, nor sinners and purists.

A vengeful god who allows this crap is certainly neither merciful nor benevolent if he allows sin and hell.

This is absolute nonsense! Confused and inconsistent set of human beings, communicating different messages about the same thing. One group of pastors (and other Christians) are saying that God brought COVID-19 to punish mankind for their sinful ways and for abandoning Him. Another group of pastors (and other Christians) are saying that the devil brought COVID-19, that God couldn't have done that.
Nonsense! Religion is the bane of our society.

By the way, read Isaiah 45:7. It states, among other things, that God creates evil.

The producers created the devil character, because they know someone has to take the blame of the evil happening around the world.
