Does Muhammadu Buhari, the self assumed Othman Danfodio of the 21st Century, Nigeria’s president cum Petroleum Minister, understand that crude oil price has plummeted and that crude oil proceeds are not all there is for a country to survive? Wasting scarce resources in digging for crude oil is the least thing any reasonable government can go into now. 1 Like |

Sammy07: The thinking cap is that after creating a quasi new country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system in the 12 northern Nigeria’s states, northerners now hasten to find crude oil in the north so that the country of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system shall become fully independent of the rest of Nigeria. Fulani plans ahead owing to Fulani belonging to the old Songhai Empire knows for territorial expansion through conquest and diplomacy. 1 Like |

babaolofin: Yes.Igbos should try to forgive and forget so that we can have a great country or even separate in peace. Only a united South which can only be facilitated by the Igbos, can achieve this. I am quoting an Igbo great mind: The North controls power not by virtue of superior intellect or ability, but by default as beneficiary of the gap existing between the Yoruba and the Igbo. Thus, Yoruba and Igbo need this accommodation for their respective good, not as a favor to the other. The day that accommodation is found, Nigeria's music will sound a different and more pleasant note. vedaxcool:are you this daft to understand that investing in oil exploration now is a colossal waste? why not resuscitate the available refineries and then work on exploring other crude oil products like gases used in pharmaceutical companies, health and engineering fields which will bring a lot of money in the nearest future(at least 2yrs) 1 Like |

These guys are quietly taking deliberate steps towards putting sustainable structures in place as a shock absorber against the eventual unavoidable natural or man made restructuring of the country. You will see that when they feel they are okay then they will announce their readiness for what the southerners have been clamouring for for decades. Restructuring , Secession or any other form of structure that is brought up. For now they are strategically positioning and getting themselves ready for the inevitable eventualities. |

Looking for oil? Can they see the price of oil? Can they just look at all the politics around oil? Yet they want oil in the north, when they have endless arable land for farming and livestock? I give up! 1 Like |
