On behalf of the Ghosts on this thread Chidi1 I'll like to point out that your moniker is kind of new here, even we the Ghosts don't know you.

That said, I'll advice you to pitch your tents carefully on this thread.
You apparently do not know that man komekn, you don't know him!!!
I personally think Komekn is a spam bot.
So please don't queue behind him just because you read a few days worth of his comments.
Calm down, relax, and observe then you'll know better.
Shallom.

very funny grin grin grin grin grin and what are you a VIRUS

People have opinions and perceptions there are no groupings here just individual opinions unless you are trying to create a supporters club for your preferred contributor, that would be very infantile thinking .

Good news but I would have preferred him having an assistant role with a sound tactical genius to help build his understanding of the game. I hope he got the knowledge to do it.

It's a gradual process, Zidane started as a reserves manager.

Unfortunately, opportunity for black coaches in Europe is very limited .

Seyi Olifinjana has been coaching youth football at Wolves for about 5 years but there has been no progression beyond that.

Zidane was Assistant to Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid before taking over the reserves.

Look at the status of Zidane in the club prior and after then add his skin tone BE REAL.

How many black coaches are there in the entire Spanish football system.

As much as this is a decent result, which probably means he deserves a chance to continue, at least over one yeye Redknapp. grin, unless they find someone else technically better. I an not quite the Rohr fan, and while his flaws are obvious, the man has refused to notice them and readjust accordingly. If he cannot back that winning rate with an Afcon trophy, and subsequently get us to the knockout stage of the World cup in 2022, especially now that some young talented Nigerians are coming in, he would have underachieved. We have had enough 2nd and third place positions in the past by the same local coaches we labeled mediocre, so I don't know why it's impractical to label him as such. It's quite painful that very few or no Nigerian coach is technically sound enough to get us there. I hope some of these guys will go out there, if they haven's already, to get the training that is required(provided coaching is their forte). As someone else suggested, perhaps the growth of African coaches and their breakout into competitive positions have been stifled by the powers that be.
TheSuperNerd:
Super Eagles under Rohr since 2016

- 46 months
- 41 games
- 53.7% win rate
- 1.49 GPG (Goals per Games)

It's nice you are holding out for a friend. Olofinjana may have been a chemical Engineering guru, but the form of intelligence required for excellence in one field may not be necessarily relevant in another. We will have to wait and hope he turns out ok, and he finally breaks out. He is after all a son of the soil. And I must say your reply is probably an appropriate answer to the comment before it(which is probably a joke), but it may not speak to Seyi's standing as a coach.

Well, several factors could be responsible.
That may not necessarily mean Seyi is not doing well as a coach.

Olofinjana, during his playing days might not have been SE fans' favorite because of his relatively lack of technical ability but he was any coache's choice due to his tactical abilities.

Tactically more efficient players more usually end up being better coaches than technically gifted players.

I forgot to add that I am impressed with Rorh's player selection/call ups.

Some Nigerian coaches will give us better results with this same crop. But will they make a good selection?
