How will the west suffer grin so you think everything in SW starts and ends in Lagos right.
So ondo and ogun ain't industrialized and linked to the sea right, oyo isn't arable for farming abi, Ekiti and Osun don't have natural resources abi?

when 9ja breaks you go know say the teeth way dog dey use play him dey use am bite too.

I pray it comes fast so as to teach all you guys a lifetime lesson remember neighbors matters in geo politics and the last time I checked Cameroon ain't nice guys.

Dont mind those Biafra n1tw1ts. Their politocal leaders, by a mile, are the worst in Nigeria today.

Their elite and business leader have no interest in the SE and they nurse no connection with the region oncd they leave it. Many even prefer to live outside ala Igbo with their families in the relative safety of the SW.

It is Igbo, ironically the biggest break-up noisemakers, who will suffer most as a fake, disunited, itinerant, self-delusional, naturally deceitful and disorganised people.

i love looove this pictures, so sweet and refreshing. this are the kind of northerners we need to get used to.not every time, we will be seeing almajiri, destructive Fulani herdsmen, Boko Harams, poverty, and all sorts of annoying stories. this sorts of pictures should be a staple in nairaland.

What's the big deal in this, Nigerian ladies falling in love with Nigerian men?

Throughout Human History, new tribes emerge through inter-marriages of previously existing tribes and Nigeria's case won't be able to different.

If we continue as one country, in 500 years time, most Nigerian tribes would have merged especially in Kwara, Kogi, Delta, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa-Ibom and Taraba and we will have less than 12 tribes in the whole country by then.

you guys seem not to be able to read the writing on the wall.

your women are breaking free - they are pursuing full freedom and real soon, they will drop your islamic protocols that you used in tying them down.

you see how they are systematically discarding your hijab and embracing full freedom from wearing masquerades.

they are begining to associate with "arnas" they have started visiting us in secret. cheesy

No, ALL Geo-Political zones are blessed and none will suffer if they have good leadership.

The Southwest was the most developed Region in the First Republic.

In case of a disintegration, the SW with survive on many factors, some of which include;

* Huge population with educated and skilled manpower

*Fertile large expanse of Land with cash crops like Cocoa, Palm produce, Kolanuts, Timber

* Mineral resources including crude oil &Gas in Ondo, Bitumen, Gold in Ijeshaland,Osun State.

*Access to the Ocean in Lagos, Ogun and Ondo States.

* Long and important international land border running from Lagos State to Kwara State.

Lol.

This thing always pain Nairaland Igbo keyboard warriors a lot.

They've always believed that the North is populated by only Almajiri beggars.

That's what happens when you see yourself as a special breed of tribe that is superior to all others.

I'm waiting for a counter thread from the Igbos showing their own flexing so we can compare and contrast with Arewa's own.

Because from what I'm seeing, Arewa is going to take home the prize o.

I know so many people whose parents practice different religions.

After many years of separation, i ran into an old friend and classmate trying to buy Sallah Ram in 2011.
I asked why he, being the son of a pastor wants to buy Sallah ram and he told me that his father-in-law is a muslim but the mother-in-law is a Christian and their children are mixed.

He further told me that he has made it his personal commitment to always buy ram for the father-in-law every year to celebrate Sallah.

I went home sober that day because even though we are doing the same job, I wasn't married then so had no wife, children or father-in-law to spend money on but I wasn't richer than him.

Bembellaa:
Humanity should come first before religion... You can get married to a non Christian and allow her practice her faith

Until when she willingly want to convert

this kind of family will only be found in yoruba land...

The humanity before religion mentality is the reason I like the Yorubas

There are Igbos in Kano who have married Hausa-Fulani.

One of them was my colleague in Wudil, Kano State.
They married in St. Louis Catholic Church, Bompai, Kano in 2012.

It is partly because of religious differences which also influence worldviews.

Yorubas have had centuries of interractions with the Hausa-Fulanis that predated the formation of Nigeria.

As more Northerners move down south, cultural exchange will take place.

Most educated Northern Youths don't live in the South because they already have jobs waiting for them in Abuja or their States.

The few EDUCATED Northerners living in the South are usually working with FG agencies like the Military, Customs, Immigration, Police, NNPC, NPA and they live in Barracks or Federal Government Estates with minimal opportunities for mixing with the host communities.

The less educated Northerners that are hustling in the South are into low paying/menial jobs and they live in isolated communities called 'Sabo'.
The younger generations that are born into such communities acclimatize well with the local population and some in the third generations have naturalized.

I was already 17 years of age before I saw a Hausa 'lady' while growing up in Lagos many years ago.
All the female Hausa-Fulanis thst i used to see before then were old women and young female children along Kano and Borno Streets in Ebute-Metta.
