I need to know more about ROTARY CLUB and how they run their activities.pls I have a reason for this it's very important. Any member in nairaland?

Rotary Club was founded in 1905 by Paul Haris and 2 of his friends. its an international Organization that has presence in all the continents, Rotary also have a seat in UN.
Rotary is a Non-Governmental Organization, second most organised organisation in the world behind the Catholic Church, they are in the fore front and the chief financier of polio Eradication.
Rotary is involve mostly in community service/Development, Peace, building friendship, etc.
No Discrimination, but you must have a classification, you must be of high ethical standard and should be able to pay your dues(yearly dues)
Its a sweet place to be especially if you have love for humanity.

Already contacted them, 70k compulsory fee, there are other voluntary fees of course.
But the time commitment made me pause for now.
