Job losses are mounting astronomically... I hope security forces are thinking outside the box on how to safeguard this nation against the inevitable surge of massive crimes to come...

Post-Covid-19 will likely be far worse than the pandemic itself!!!... This nation is playing with fire!!!

These people will just be lying anyhow.

How can this company claim to have up to 8,000 staff?!

The people who lost their jobs are likely contract or indirect staff therefore to call them staff of Redivivus is grossly misleading!

That aside a waste recycling plant is offering an essential service and should be exempted from restrictions on movement

Really sadddens my heart that we are experiencing this all of a sudden but investigations needs to be taken on the claims of an industry like this having 8k plus staff.
Then the state govt needs to look at those who need the palliatives in the company more.
Really hope the anambra govt would look into this carefully and critically.

WHAT KIND OF NEWS IS THIS? NO "WASTE COMPANY" IN ANAMBRA CAN EMPLOY 8,000+ STAFF.
Read again, they are scavengers indirectly employed to collect waste from several cities which is the raw material used by this company. He gave the number of their staff as 44 with 16 contract staff

Lmao...We all know Anambra is even getting more poorer day by day and becoming a disgrace to the entire Igbo, ..Caused with erosion and having poverty rate of 15% is no different from poverty index of 30% or 60% or 70%... Anambra is cursed with poverty and erosion that's the worse of it..by the time others aren't poor Anymore Anambra will be wasting in poverty due to effects of erosion..no wonder most of them are running to Enugu and dragging land with iwollo people of Ezeagu

You deserve a refund of your school fees cos it's obvious that you still lack comprehension skills.

My post did not in anyway malign contract workers but you chose to take it out of context due to you shallow mindedness!

How can a company that has 44 staff be talking of sacking 8000 people.?

The waste management company doesn't even know how many scavengers supply them wastes as people just come to sell wastes (plastics and other recyclables) per weights to them.

So if about 8000 people comes to sell per month, it doesn't make them your staff.

Secondly, it claimed it stopped operation since February. How come!
Covid didn't start in that state in February and no lock down until April.!
