Mkenya2019:Why are you posting Ugandan pictures? It's too early in the game to be desperate, son. Well, I guess Kenya has next to nothing in terms of factories. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

The dynamics of the cost of living is what inflation captures. Nigeria's incomes are not increasing at double digit while cost of living is rising. Soon you'll be like kenya without kenya incomes. The evidence from data - we are lifting 10M out of poverty every decade or 1m every year. So the trajectory is we will lift 10m out of current 15m out of poverty before 2030 - and we are seeing population growth now under control The story of Nigeria is different - poverty is increasing - as inflation rises - and population increases. obaaderemi: 2 Likes |

Mombasa has lot of factories. Don't even go there. The likes of Uniliver, Proter and Gamble - and those big brands - were routed out of kenya by the likes of Bidco, Haco and many FMGM companies. 1) Uganda Breweries - in Kampala - own by Kenya's EABL obaaderemi: 2 Likes

The packaging look really WHACk. Mombasa is up there with Nairobi in industries.. For example - Mombasa is home to Safal group - the giants in steel industry in Africa. 10 Countries, 36 Operations, 60 Years’ experience. The company opened its first manufacturing facility in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1962, rapidly widening its reach to include further countries in East Africa, and then Southern Africa. In 2003, all operating companies were reversed into the current holding company called Safal Investments Mauritius Limited, and conducts its business across Africa as the Safal Group. obaaderemi: 2 Likes |

Should we try Zambia? It's only lubrication plant is now owned by Kenya's KenolKobil Group. KenolKobil basically runs the downstream oil business from Ethiopia, South Sudan all the way now to Zimbwabwe if not Mozambique I think We are one of Zambia’s most celebrated oil marketing companies. Since our establishment in 2002 following the 100% acquisition of Jovenna Zambia Limited by KenolKobil Limited, we continue to expand our presence in the country. We are renowned in Zambia for our strong lubricants business segment. We are the leading supplier of the lubricants used in the famous copper mines of Zambia. We are continuously expanding our business assets base. To enhance our lubricants business, we acquired a stake in the shareholding of Lublend Limited, Zambia’s only lubricants blending plant. The acquisition has since solidified our position as Zambia’s leading supplier of lubricants. 2 Likes

obaaderemi: You should probably know they are used to starving by now. I can confirm I saw what you posted on aljazeera few weeks ago. The scene was actually pathetic though cus it was their working class selling maize from their privates cars along major roads in Nairobi but it wasn't to be pitied since most of them would rather plant tea and flowers than plant useless crops like cassava, yam, millet, sorghum . 4 Likes |
