Conductor261: Yeah, I understand but then again the car gave me too many issues. Transmission issues common with honda up to 2005 I think. I did not know about this about the time given it's my first car with no prior experience. Also, the 2008 evil spirit seems to have its own issues as well, I checked on carcomplaints and it was advised to avoid like plague as issues like excessive oil and brake issues. I just want to do it right this time and get a reliable car with optimum luxury and all. |

Conductor261: Of course. Maintenance is key regardless. I just want to avoid cars with generally known manufacturer defects Transmission issues on old accord series is quite frustrating if you have used one. I remember my gear suddenly jerking while on speed on the express traveling. it was not pleasant at all. |

bmarketing:Ok. I have only used a civic. It was a harrowing experience. I have been consistent with Mercedes. But I believe you are going to enjoy the Lexus better. Although the last edition of the big daddy is not bad also |

Hi guys, I intend getting the 2007/2008 Is 250 is there any issues I should be looking out for? Can I get Decent Fuel mileage (it’s a v6 so I am not expecting good but decent fuel save) . Is there a better year that’s advisable to get between the 2006-2008? Thank you |

bmarketing: Luxury obviously goes to Lexus. The 03 Lexus has a V6 engine as standard and it's not very fuel efficient. Handling is probably same. They are very similar cars over all. But I will go for a clean 03 Lexus. Personal choice 1 Like |

bmarketing:Having owned a Lexus RX330 for 6.5years without a single issue, I'd gladly advice anyone to go for a Lexus ES but make it an ES330 and do not buy an abused unit. They're incredibly well built and would definitely serve you for a long time under normal maintenance. They aren't very expensive to maintain also. 2 Likes |

Re: Club-Lexus by DonnyE(m): 4:29pm On Jun 01, 2020 |
KINGreignn:Pls why the Es330? Is the es300 bad or not fuel efficient like the Es330? |
Re: Club-Lexus by kingreign(m): 4:46pm On Jun 01, 2020 |
DonnyE:ES330 is more modern it's also a further improvement upon the already very good ES300. The ES330 is more powerful, faster, more economical, has 5speed gear over the ES300 4speed gear, the 2005/6 ES330 has heated and cooled/ventilated seats but the 02-04 ES has only heated seats. The Es330 is more premium. 1 Like |

kingreign:Thanks, but I want to be very clear on the fuel economy. This is because choices are highly influenced financially, you mean the 3MZ FE on the 04-05 on the es330 is more fuel efficient (uses lower amount of fuel) than the 1MZ FE on the 02-03 es300? |
Re: Club-Lexus by kingreign(m): 5:43pm On Jun 01, 2020 |
DonnyE:Yep. But don't let fuel economy be the judge of you buying a car 1 Like 1 Share |
