Armour and flesh are of two different materials... Armours are made to protect flesh, so they are harder to breach.
1. Amateratsu didn't burn madara's armour for 5 minutes. It was a few seconds at best, so stop exaggerating.
2. 1 min plus is enough time to do serious damage regardless of if amateratsu burns slowly. Even at that he will have to be still to seal it (which is highly impractical) enough time for Itachi to use tsoka blade on him or his susanoo bomb.

Probably but don't forget he also has toad summons to hold itachi off till he can seal it

I posted my theory some time here ago, and yagura karatachi is a perfect jinchuriki.

Did you see when be explained how jinchuriki are unaffected by genjistu. Bee said if you have a good relationship with your beast it will break you out. Yagura and 3tails didn't even have a slightly good relationship.
And yes sharingan can look into the subcounciousness and see the tailed beast, but under such conditions, no jistu can be performed, its just a projection google it.
And even if it were possible, the jinchuriki can break the tailed beast in seconds by regulating the chakra, but its still impossible.

The reason why you don't see it as lethal is because those who cast the jutsu just allow it to burn naturally. If it burns naturally, it is very slow but it can be used to cover a person all at once. But he couldn't do that since he was down and he was already running low on chakra. So, the point is that if the person is slow enough, you can ENGULF him all at once. And don't even say that Jiraiya is fast enough to reach the Raikage's speed even in Sage Mode. And if the flame engulfs him at once, how does he want to do the sealing jutsu? The plot makes Amaterasu users seem so dumb that even against someone that is super strong, the most they can do is put them in a circle of fire or put a part of their body on fire and wait for it to burn naturally. We blame the plot

Did you forget when sasuke used amaterasu on madara, madara was blind and without his reningan, so how can he absorb it. Stop lying na, which one is sasuke didn't want to kill, when sasuke is one of the people who always fight with killing intent. In his fight with raikage sasuke was beaten to pulp, he couldn't even catch raikage with the amaterasu, Raikage destroyed sasukes susano, and became stupid and angrily tried to destroy sasukes ribs when sasuke covered himself with amaterasu, thats the reason why the flames even touched him.
And if gaara didn't save sasuke there raikage would have killed sasuke. Did you watch the fight, after raikage brutality wasted jugo and suigetsu, sasuke was barely managing to stay alive.

Tailed beasts are the easiest to place in genjistu, and if the uchihas were still alive am sure lots of them will be able to do this

As we all know, the sharingan can see into a jinchuriki's psyche allowing them to meet the bijuu face to face. And the way a perfect jinchuriki escapes genjutsu is by being injected chakra directly from the bijuu. If you put the bijuu under genjutsu first, there would be no way for chakra to get injected into the jinchuriki hence allowing the said individual to enter a perfect genjutsu.

although theoritically possible...it is impossible to put a perfect jinchuriki under genjutsu...look at bee for instance...it is virtually impossible for the sharingan caster to isolate the bijuu from its jinchuriki...

3. You guys talk about summoning like it is a normal jutsu. It drains chakra faster than normal jutsu. If the user is low on chakra, he/she cannot summon anything, or he will summon smaller animals. How many times have you seen Jiraiya summon more than 3 big toads? And those small clownish ones that will be giving fight commentary. What's this talk of up to 10? And you do know that Old toads that will help him enter Sage Mode will also be summoned right? Whether they fight with knives or toad oil, Itachi can summon hundreds of crows which can also block their line of sight. And the bigger they are, the easier to take down. I hope you also know that summonings can be caught in genjutsu, but it is pretty useless to use since the summoner can easily break it if he/she can. My point is, for every attack, there is a defense or a counterattack. That's how amazing Itachi is.
4. I now understand your point on genjutsu. Nevertheless, there is not one single person that fully understands the limits of Itachi's power. Do you think he became a jounin at 10 because he was a walkover? Not to mention that he can predict attacks. You guys really underestimate him a lot.
