Human spirit has what is called freewill. An example is a guy goes into a market with a gun, he has the freewill to shoot it not to shoot. If he shoots the gun, he is automatically tied to the responsibility which he must bear. Man has freewill and God does not intefere. He can look at the course of action and predict what will happen in the future. 3 Likes |

Op, how is that after all these years, you still did not know the answer and you could not teach your child the same? Courtesy Code Templar "Blaming God for suffering (your sins) will be like a man who buys a brand new Toyota Camry, fuels it with acid and pepper against Toyota's instruction, then blames Toyota for the break down of the vehicle." We have all answered this question before! 2 Likes |

The child is possessed by demons. He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. Proverbs 13:24 So it has been written. So it shall be done.

cjfbn:But how can it be freewill, when God already knows what would happen? it has been predetermined in God's foreknowledge right? and what is the purpose of a freewill or test to God, when God already knows the result? this is why many doctrines in islam and christianity makes no sense to people. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

TrajansKong:No she isn't "possessed by demons"! Its you who obviously wants to kill the Spirit God placed in her to make her use her God given brain that is obviously possessed by something! People like you would have taken the rod to Jesus! Thankfully, she is not your daughter! Op, give your daughter a Bible and tell her to find the answer in there please and then educate you! And make sure you say the please! 2 Likes 1 Share

Trueigbo:Life on earth is an opportunity for one to learn, develop and mature so that in the end one returns to Paradise, the home of mature human Spirits. People sin when they apply their free will in the wrong direction, and suffer from the repercussions of their wrong choices. The one thing God will never do is to interfere with man's free will. Though God is all-knowing, He gives everyone a chance to develop but He will never interfere with our choices. 3 Likes |
Re: Question My 11years Daughter Asked Me by Nobody: 1:01pm On May 31, 2020 |
@Trueigbo God creates us to have fellowship with him and show forth his glory. We sin because we have freewill He gave us freewill so we can choose to love him or not, do wright or Wrong. Wright and wrong have their own destination and rewards. You gave birth to your daughter to have an offspring, create your own kind, lineage and have a fellowship and relationship with them but you can't force them to do your will. Due to the fact that there's a wrong way/path that leads to destruction, God creates an avenue or opportunity for forgiveness and remission by using Jesus as the sacrificial lamb to bring us back to the right path even having lost in the wrong path. This shouldn't be too hard to understand. You may want your daughter to be a doctor but she wants to be a musician, you can't force her, cos she has her freewill and she won't live with you for the rest of her life, nevertheless she will enjoy the reward of whatever she has chosen to do with her life whether good or bad. That's just it. |

nairalandankrah: Then you don't get it. Why should God take it upon himself to punish us when we can suffer the consequences of our actions from the choices we make. Please read the op again and get the point As humans when we create a defected product we destroy it because we already know what will happen 4 Likes |

cjfbn: So we should not stop people from doing bad things because they have freewill? That's nonsense. If you will intervene and stop a person from doing a bad thing then your god has no excuse. 5 Likes 1 Share |

triplechoice: I have answered it before (with other persons) and now you have also helped me answer as Code Templar answered even just yesterday, Saturday the 30th May. If he can not blame Toyota as You have Said, he can not blame God! That's what he ought to teach his children, which is also summarised in the words called Taking Responsibility and Liability or Praise for All your Actions and Inactions! Curiously Responsibility comes from Response-Able meaning Able To Respond! |
Re: Question My 11years Daughter Asked Me by OLAADEGBU(m): 2:03pm On May 31, 2020 |
Trueigbo: "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His Judgments, and His ways past finding out!" (Romans 11:33). You daughter is right in saying that God is first and last and that He is Omniscient. He is perfect and sees the past, present and future in a straight line. It is also necessary to note that everything God does is perfect. It is also true that He created us for His glory. Therefore, the introduction of sin into this earth through the first man, Adam and Eve must have been a way to bring glory to God. Your intelligent daughter may be wondering how sin could bring glory to God? You must let her know that God is holy, will not entertain sin and that the punishment of sin is eternal death. It may gladden your daughter to know that God had a fantastic plan to save us from eternal death through Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Jesus took the bullet for everyone who chooses to believe in Him even though He Himself committed no sin. Reading the gospels especially the gospel of John shows us about the wonderful life Jesus lived, His death on the cross and His Resurrection and all this shows us the great love God has for us. So when we realise all that Jesus had done for us to be saved, we would want to give God all the glory! By God creating us, God created beings to whom He could show His love, mercy, holiness, compassion, forbearance and kindness. By doing this God has giving us the opportunity to exist here on earth and in addition to that He has given us the grace to spend eternal life with Him. "How unsearchable are His Judgments and His ways past finding out." For more see here 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Question My 11years Daughter Asked Me by triplechoice(m): 2:05pm On May 31, 2020 |
Dtruthspeaker: Then we don't need God at all. Let everyone take responsibility for what they do. . We should not involve God in anything that we do. Because when we buy a Toyota car from a car dealer, the manufacturers don't get involved or try to monitor how will use the car everyday Now since this is the case, why are we worried about God.We is it difficult to take responsibility for our actions without involving God punishing us or not. If you buy a Toyota car and damge it in an accident through reckless driving, the car dealer or manufacturer will not stop you from buying a new one.In fact they are happy that you come again and again to buy from them So you see, your Toyota analogy does not fit The question has an answer but you cannot accept it because it is not within the scope of your current religious point of view 2 Likes |
Re: Question My 11years Daughter Asked Me by Dtruthspeaker: 2:23pm On May 31, 2020 |
triplechoice: Oh we surely do need God, for first we are His Children and a Good Father Always oversees the conducts of His Children and Even also Partakes in their activities e.g playing, dancing, laughter, joy and happiness and All the Good Things. As seen among us. So also can He Not Remove Himself when His Children behave badly one to another, and one of His Children is Crying Out that Another of His Children is doing him a wrong or an evil thing. Or He even Sees when one child is planning to carryout a wicked thing upon another child, as a father, would you not intervene when you see these things? This is even aside the settlement of conflict between the children, shall you as a Father not intervene and take action when you see these things, as we even do on earth? |

triplechoice: Also you are making a second error in not understanding that Mr. Toyoda the maker of Toyota is your Brother, Not the Toyota Car. You and your brother are equal and you can buy his products and do whatever you like with them. He can not complain, since you have purchased it. But your Father Above the 2 of you has Great Power to stop him from selling to you, or He can also stop you from buying the car or any other decision He feels like Making, just as we do to our children on earth. But the Bottom Line is that He shall affect the 2 of you, and we need Him to do so, else we go kill ourselves over matter. |
