Oh I LOVE shrimps. I can't have enough of them, especially sauteed in tomato sauce cheesy

I think that is what makes the difference; the ingredients. Just like oha/okazi never feels original to me if it Is prepared with palm oil, rather than palm fruits.

I get what you mean. It's just like cooking afang without yellow pepper doesn't seem complete to me.

And I realized that vegetable soup is different from edikaikong even if it's the same ugu and waterleaf. For one, we don't put ogiri in edikaikong.

Funny enough my husband is more skilled than me (I had to accept this truth) in edikaikong. So I prep the ingredients and call him to do his magic.

Beans and rice can't cook at the same time, beans takes much time.. So, you boil the beans and let it soften a bit before adding rice to it.
