Hi. Good afternoon. I read your post on the thread on Ime Bishop (Okon) body transformation and you said you can teach someone to lose belly fat by increasing water intake. I am desperately in need of this. Can you give me a brief break down on how to do this? Thank you. @meobizy |

maynation:I studied business courses for both my masters and undergrad majors. I was originally a science student but hated every moment of learning outdated concepts. After SSCE I decided a business major was the most practical way to making real world money after uni. Went through your diary and your writing prowess plus your command of English is too dope.Thank you. This is the second time someone else has pointed it out. One of the reasons I frequent here and other forums is to improve drastically in my grammar construction and use of English. I also read books from time to time, but I find them boring compared to chat forums and discussion boards. I have seen people’s use of English improve over time from being here. Mine was already good, but I want it completely spotless to the best of my ability. I also use grammar checkers when available. I can’t go about disgracing my lineage online when it comes to the use of English. You are a mean proud modafoka tho. This is a character trait which took me years to grow. For people to like someone the individual has to like him/herself first. I also learned from growing older that humility is highly overrated and causes harm most times to the person displaying it. I then discarded the worthless trait for an even better one. 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe:There is nothing difficult to weight loss; the problem is not starting but sticking to the routine. Everybody says staying in shape is boring yet eating to stay alive comes natural to them. Let me stop there because I might fill up this post if I turn my opinion into a rant. A lot of people don’t drink enough water over the course of the day. This makes their body retain water thereby making them appear pudgy. How much do you weigh? I want to know that first because some men at 56kgs claim they are overweight meanwhile the average male over 5’4 should weigh at least 83kgs. My solution is just drink more water than you usually take. If you don’t know how much to start with aim for 2L daily. You can buy 2 5Alive juice packs and fill them with water as a reference point. If you do not lose weight, which I guarantee you’ll drop a few kilos from the activity, you will still notice a freshness and glow in your skin. By day 4 you may receive compliments from people you know. Also avoid alcoholic drinks of any sort, that is the main key to the change. 1 Like |

meobizy: Thank you for your time. I am definitely overweight. Not measured myself lately but definitely overweight. Get you that later. I also consume water at an insane rate. Like a minimum of 5 sachets of water daily but no result. This comes natural to me, to the point I think it is the cause of my weight issues. Well, I will still try to work on it. |

Your profile says avid reader. Do you by chance read on your mobile? If so what app do you use? Or website? I'm just two books away from finishing Stephen Kings dark tower series and Anybooks gets shot to hell. Couldn't find it on media365 either |

crownedrookie:I’ve shunned reading regular books for using online forums. It was my iPad I always used as a go-to e-reader. I just used the inbuilt books app and downloaded pdf formats of books into the device. Other than that I have not engaged the service of any specialist software. I did not have a favourite author at the time as I was looking more to building the habit first before learning other specifics which come with the trait. |
Re: Nairaland: I Am Bored. Ask Me Any Question. by Nobody: 5:24pm On Mar 05, 2020 |
meobizy:OK. Next question... You mentioned working out a lot. Do you lift weights as well as push ups? Asking cos I'm currently doing a bit of lifting weights and I'm noticing my elbow joints have some sort of deep ache when I flex them. |
Re: Nairaland: I Am Bored. Ask Me Any Question. by meobizy(f): 6:42pm On Mar 05, 2020 |
crownedrookie:The ache in your elbows depend on when you first started. If you started lifting about a week or two ago the pain will subside as your body is getting used to the load you’ve put on it. Yes, I workout a lot and it is mostly calisthenics. I picked the style from lifting weights early in uni then settling for calisthenics when I realized during my final year that coming across weights or a gym will involve spending money. In the beginning I lifted weights because I was curious to see what effect the activity will have on me. I did not create a progress journal or monitor myself with mirrors; weights were easily available, some guys loved working out daily and I joined them. Three months later I went out for a few drinks and nearly scared myself to death from seeing my reflection: my top-half was solidly built, and my otherwise regular shirt had a body-hugging fit. Now, I just do five hundred to eight hundred push-ups every other day, the same amount in crunches and a little less in squats. Whenever I find something to hang off I perform one to two hundred pull-ups. At my peak (which I reduced because of real-world engagements) I could hit two thousand two hundred push-ups daily. Those high numbers were not a waste as yearly I kept rising in strength and weight. |
Re: Nairaland: I Am Bored. Ask Me Any Question. by Nobody: 7:44pm On Mar 05, 2020 |
meobizy:No. I resumed early January. I felt the usual muscle pain I feel after a long break of no workouts no biggie I worked through that. I did a fair amount of lifting in my uni days too so Im used to it. I've never experienced deep bone pains like i am right now though. I recently increased my reps for both single arm curls and double arm curl though maybe that's why. Envy you guys with the patience for calisthenics. As long as I'm not lifting something heavy I feel like I'm wasting my time |
Re: Nairaland: I Am Bored. Ask Me Any Question. by meobizy(f): 8:01pm On Mar 05, 2020 |
crownedrookie:You answered your initial question here. If it persists or gets worse you can take a long break from the act. Calisthenics is a midpoint between lifting and being sedentary. I am not as strong as weightlifters but faster sometimes and recover better. Compared to the average man I am an athlete in speed, strength, stamina and durability. Lifting weights is superior, but this is something I can do for life. It also makes me better as the years go by. |

meobizy:There's no need for you to tap dance for your master just be a good ole servant. I know it will be hard for you to resist but try and do your booty scratching in the privacy of your mud hut. |
