If you can't defend the genocide, rape, slavery, human sacrifices and unnecessary killings caused by God, then don't say he's benevolent and loves his creation.

If he didnt want us to know those things....they wont be in the bible

If the writers of the bible were frauds who just wanted to sell the image of a perfect loving God, they would have deleted all those unsightly things from the bible.

The fact that they are there means that God wants us to be aware of those things and doesnt want to be defended or excused.
