I'm using Hot 8pro and its cool. It has 5000mah and it charges fast, it can handle all games too. But some peeps will tell you to stay off Infinix for reason best known to em. Meanwhile, that Redmi is cool too, it's a matter of choice tho.

Best advice I can give you is to head to YouTube and check reviews on each device and make your choice.

I doubt I'll post any useful info on Nairaland anymore since seun and dragnet decided to look common sense in the face and spit at it.

The only advantage the Hot 8 has over the Redmi 8A is the fingerprint scanner..
Every other specs,the Redmi 8A wins hands down..

go for the redmi 8a , usb type c( supports fast charging) 5000mah ,it doesn't have a fingerprint scanner but it's worth every Penny. Pls dont buy that infinix!!! Tell him to get the redmi 8a!!

There is literally no spare parts for Xiaomi in the market.

And their only service centre in Lagos is absolutely useless. They will charge you more than the cost of the phone. Updating their phones is a nightmare that is best avoided except you want to brick or lose your phone
